there is a chud who claims to be the original 'zellig spammer from the /qa/ era who says that he will donate a hundred euros to forsen so that he can watch Ongezellig, possibly to boost popularity or something.

Small tip for the people who enjoy the fresh OC that the Sharty brings to the table but don't want to go through the storm of unrelenting 'tism that is the website itself and the average thread:

Just use the Booru.

It's a classical Danbooru-style imageboard entirely dedicated to sharty content with a very elaborate tagging system. I recommend using tags like animated with some variant tag like variant:chudjak and then just look out for high-quality Gems. But small warning ahead, it has NSFW content!
 
This site, and this thread, confuses me. I'm impressed by the OC and the culture surrounding it, but it just feels like wasted effort for something that's so... dumb. Reminds me of rare pepe culture, or even those weird wojak girlboss edits a while back. It's just white noise. Why put forth so much effort for one meme? I didn't understand it back when pepe/wojak became the default for everything, and I don't understand it now. Good on you if you enjoy this, because clearly you're not as desensitized as I am.

That being said, I've been following Ongezellig since back when it started and I'm glad people are trying to spread it around. It's a good pilot/series.
 
Mister Loser i believe once the unhinged soyjaks gets popular on twitter then maybe ongezellig will follow that suit and become popular
imagine a known producter from japan or america buys the show because it is popular
