I so wish there was more stuff floating online about this mofo. He's such a seether, his attempts at writing fiction are laughable and he certainly likes the smell of his brain farts a little too much. For the past year or two he decided to take on the persona of a semi-serious vengeful incel bent on unleashing sharia law on the West and it would be very interesting to know more about his (probably shitty) personal life.
I don't know, he doesn't really seem like much of a cow to me. He's got some esoteric takes on philosophical and social issues, and takes his personal privacy rather seriously, but he doesn't otherwise come across as a seether in my eyes. His attempts at pretense and "owning" other people on Twitter are admittedly cringe-inducing, but he comes across more as an armchair intellectual than a warrior for St. Elliot Rodger.

Lolcow also has 39 threads of information on the Thiel-funded post-left/dimes square scene which you can find Here for more information.
God bless lolcow farms, they really come through once in awhile.

Here's some other stuff I stole from them that I don't think has been posted yet?

It's been three months, I wonder how it went?

Aella tries Python saga. I can't even say this is "learning to code" because it isn't really. Just read:

You can learn a lot by just reading a book. I understand that books are not fashionable for computer related subjects and can be outdated or won't tell you how to do exactly what you want to do, but the thought process that consulting simps will be a superior method of learning from nothing over simply following instructions or reference guides is the product of an arrogant mind that refuses to learn anything the conventional way.

It makes my teeth grind that someone this incompetent is heralded as a data scientist by reason.com

She's a lolbertarian who doesn't look like she plays bass in a ska band so I can understand why they'd want to parade her around.

In all seriousness it's funny to watch her pull the same tricks as leftoid-aligned credential grifters and get generally skeptical, contrarian types like the Reason editorial staff and Katie Herzog to credulously accept and amplify her bullshit.

I've never seen anyone learn to code by reading a book. Learning a language by looking up stuff in a book - sure, but the ability to actually program a computer to do what you want seems completely unteachable. About 5-10% of people simply automatically pick it up, these days usually in high school, the rest is lost forever. One of the biggest blackpills.

Strong disagree. It's more like a skilled trade than a fine art. You need the right foundation and a pile of experience but you can brute force competence if you're willing to put the work in. The harder part is doing it if you aren't interested, but that's not unique to programming. Doing anything you truly dislike for hours and hours wears you down and no amount of compensation will make you enjoy it in the long run.

The problem is with the foundation. I regularly see people holding programming jobs who can't program. As in, can't tell the computer to do what needs to be done, when the thing to be done is obvious. I'm not talking about inventing clever optimizations, I'm talking about literal for loops. These people get by entirely by copy-pasting without understanding or offloading work on other people and brown-nosing the bosses. You're very lucky if you haven't seen this phenomenon.

Unfortunately true. You could learn to code by reading a book if and only if the student completed exercises along with the material. Like a math book.

That makes sense, I think I was kind of talking past you before. I've definitely worked with assholes who got by copying shit and then trying to tweak it to do what they wanted without having ever bothered to learn why it works or how to recreate it. I thought you were saying that programmatic skills couldn't really be learned or taught without some underlying aptitude, which I disagree with, but I agree that stack exchange and some reference materials aren't a substitute for practice and experience in the fundamentals of whatever you're doing.

This is what I'm saying. These fakers are clearly the end result of lack of aptitude. No sane person would thrash stuff for days by trial and error if they could do it in minutes by understanding how it works. And yet they do that.

But I think that speaks more to a lack of intellectual curiosity & refusal to improve than aptitude. Like, Aella could have sat her ass down at the computer and closed out of Twitter and applied maybe thirty minutes of mental effort and probably could have gotten somewhere. But instead she probably stared at the screen for five seconds, attempted to do nothing, and then cried on Twitter for reassurance because that's the only thing she's ever known how to do her entire life. Even the best programmers make simple mistakes and brute-force solutions when starting out.

Aella's problem is that she thinks that she got her money & her following from being an exceptionally intelligent woman when really it is because she is a whore & men threw their money at her because she made their dicks hard.

When it comes to Aella, I suspect half of it is an act. She plays a damsel in need of rescuing, the simps jump on to rescue her and everyone is happy. Some men like this kind of thing.

How do you raise THREE whores?

I don't think the dad was kidding about asbergers because she sounds legitimately braindead and I imagine her sisters are too.

if I tell that he you often told me I was lazy and would fail horribly at life once I left home, you know it’s bad, because it’s concrete, easy to imagine and obviously unkind.
It's easy to imagine not at all unkind because he wasn't wrong.

Aella tries Python saga. I can't even say this is "learning to code" because it isn't really. Just read:
oh god, starting with launching python.exe and having just a command line window has got to be the most retarded way ever to start with python
open up a text editor and start writing shit and executing it periodically - ideally while having an idea in mind of what exactly you want to accomplish with the code you're writing

"I wanna learn python to do data analysis on the data I have, I'm goal driven."

Maybe you should just get one of the statistics packages out there? Like specifically R if you want to do it this way. Though I feel you'd be happier with like SOFA or Stata or something. Does she know you can do correlations in Excel or LibreOffice Calc?

I was wondering about that, as well as why she claims her survey data was "too big for google sheets" and then apparently her entire computer.

Someone notices this is, uh, extremely extremely unlikely: She doesn't seem to catch on and just agrees. It IS big data.

Simps swoop in and the poor lad refrains from "mansplaining":

For this to be true, her computer is a ancient relic on its last legs, or she has somehow collected several million lines of text data from her Twitter surveys. These people fascinate me, enough of them should be able to notice obvious contradictions like this, I guess they just don't care as long as she's posting titties.
