Furry Fandom and Drama General

I'm using betterdiscord with ShowHiddenChannels,fyi.
>staff category has a #selfie channel
I honestly expected more but lmao. Seems that the only FA staff has access to those.
Wonder how many fat fuck pics are in there.
I actually do remember the Selfies channel, and also recall that there weren't as much fat fucks as one would expect. Though the channel went private due to privacy concerns according to server staff.

So, speaking of grooming; this account is a 16 year old who makes no effort in hiding they're 16 posting pictures of themselves half naked and retweeting content from NSFW associated people. Sorry if this is against protocol or me being stupid and not understanding how this thread works; but this shit needs to be seen, cause they've had the account for 2 years and this has just been fucking happening, I guess.

Their partner, Korgs, doesn't look to be that good of a person either. But I do remember seeing this Jam person on my timeline posting pictures of himself in borderline fetish/bondage gear, thigh-highs, crop-tops, and skirts. Disgusting how far downhill the furry fandom seems to be going/has always been.

Do you guys remember Xanderblaze?

Probably not, as he was only given a passing mention here, way back in this thread when Bitters learned about the farms and had a brief, but noticeable spergout about it. Just a weirdo with a weird fetish, a dime a dozen within the furry fandom.

However, just today I've noticed a few artists denouncing him on social media. I didn't find anything here, so I decided to take a look at it myself and, what do you know, it's Bitters again.

TL;DR: According to Bitters, Xander is a sperg who constantly pesters and harasses people to get them to draw his characters, get a commission with their characters and/or commissions art of other people's characters without their consent.

And if I'm reading the comments right, it seems like Xander has been a thorn on a lot of people's sides for quite a while now. I'll be taking a deeper look to see if I can find anything else on this guy.

I tried to look for Xander's socials to see if he had said anything about this mess, but the only thing I've found was a FurAffinity page, and it has been deleted, unsurprisingly.

I apologize if I have messed up anything, I've never done a post as long as this.
Also, I'm on mobile (don't laugh).

There seems to be a specific demographic of furries (though it seems to be prominently underage teenagers and/or TikTok users) that try to paint/glue shit onto those Jurassic Park raptor masks for a cheap fursuit head. And honestly, I really don't know why they bother. The masks themselves are the usual cheap plastic you'd expect from a $40 movie tie-in kid's toy, so if it happens to get cracked or damaged, there's no way in hell you'd be able to fix it. Add in the extra weight of the paint/feathers/glue that people add onto these things, and it's basically a toy with an extremely short shelf life.

I'm betting the only reason they're as popular as they are is that teens (who don't know any better) often try to use them as an alternative to the more expensive foam/resin bases used for fursuit heads, and they'd have better luck begging their parents for a $40 mask as opposed to a $200-500 mask base. I've yet to see a single custom raptor mask that looks good, but that doesn't stop people from using them anyways:
(I blatantly stole these from these three posts in the awful fursuit thread)

While we're at it, I searched "Raptor Mask" on thedealersden and these popped up, ranging from "questionable" to "awful in every definition of the word":

Without trying to sound like a broken record with what has already been said, I can vouch fully for the fact that dino mask furries are what you described, only I'll add on to that with that more than often it is the combination of both minor furries and TikTok users, TikTok minors if you will. I barely see them outside of that app, if at all, and usually they're harmless. Because of that, I don't often look further into them, since being a grown adult stalking minors on the web is pretty low life behavior to begin with.

Dino masks are the subject of a somewhat infrequent discourse amongst furries on Twitter and TikTok with folks in the community either arguing that they don't count as fursuits, or just flat out gatekeeping them from the community for being annoying kids. It's not as common of discourse as something like feral porn morality arguments, but it still happens from time to time. I kind of find it interesting that there's more of a push to gatekeep kids out of the community by older furries when they see kids using alternate ways to make character costumes without making an entire fursuit, rather than pushing them out because for more safety concerns for having a chance of being groomed by creeps.

Actually, reading that last sentence out loud sounds stupid. The vocal majority of furries have never cared about minor safety in their own community to begin with.

Hell I’ve seen grown ass furries willing to push minors out from the community simply because said minors voiced their disgust over fetishes. No safety concern, just “stop talking about your discomfort, we were here first”.

I've seen this too. On one hand, it's refreshing to see some kids and some zoomer adults in the community openly say that there's certain fetishes that they find disgusting, given that from what I read, the fandom being a little too comfortable with accepting certain extreme paraphilias is more of a recent thing. On the other hand, it makes me little upset knowing that most of the time these people will be forced into silence from older furries perpetuating the whole "accept these people and if not, you're kinkshaming" rhetoric. IMO, people wanting to distance themselves, or even be mildly uncomfortable, at people who are openly diaperfurs or whatever isn't going to break the community unless you make a mountain out of a molehill about it.

Also, in the back of my mind, seeing adults kick these kids out of the community might even be for the better for the kids, mainly on an internet in general standpoint.

Was unfortunate enough to see a number of recent and rather foul tweets from an individual named Tex_1421 (Archive)

Truly vile and abnormal behavior, likely the result of a combination of years of online grooming and poor parenting. Very unfortunate.

I completely forgot about this dude. I'm sure that he's doing just fine, right?

Please pray for the poor parents of this lost soul, god only knows what kind of shit they have to put up with.

Furry zoomer coomer was bad at internet op-sec and got outed to his family, eh? Many such cases. I hope the dad doesn't let the poor bastard live it down.

I summarily predict that if he does get that chance to move to California, he'll write himself out of the gene pool cavorting with the degen furry scene that's all over that hell-state.

This is why the ancient Romans let fathers execute their children.

Anyone recognise the sole furry who showed up to the Furries/Cabaret Against Fascism event in Glasgow today? The rest must've decided they were better off sticking to Scotiacon.
Och, ah dinnae ken much, but ah think that lass there is a lad.

I also found this one:
That’s Unlobito / Harley Watson (formerly Henri Watson), a trans woman.

Yes, that’s Valko / William Findlay, who is “non-binary". Both he and Unlobito may have gone to Scotiacon but they both live in Glasgow anyway.

There's even some footage of him online - and when I say "footage"...

His face looks like he’s part of the Adam’s family.
