While I do share your feelings about the accursed anglos, it still looks like they screwed you pretty good.

From the Nord Stream sabotage to the Biden administration offering European companies a series of tax breaks and incentives to lure them over to the US.

Also yeah, companies like BASF do want a discount to match the Americans' offer, but I have serious doubts that the EU will be able to afford that.

At this point dealing with Putin doesn't seem so unreasonable, right?

Edit: To elaborate on further consequences, if the EU refuses to submit to the American economic dicking and rolls out their own subsidy to counter Biden's, that will cause a full-on trade war with the US.

I've been watching coal power stations here being torn down and blown to bits, just to be replaced with expensive gas and wind and solar which don't work at certain times, it's all very frustrating that we potentially would've still had cheap electricity and thus competative industry if we just told the greenies to FOAD, but no, lions led by donkies and all that.
