Reason Youtubers keep begging for like/comments/subscribe is that it simply works. Even when Jim did it at the end of one of his videos, in the most ironic way he could, he noticed a substantial uptick in his metrics.

For what it's worth, he did return to stream on Twitch today. I didn't catch it until just now, and it's been going for around 2 hours. I don't know if he talked about the situation, but I would imagine he didn't. I'll check the VOD once the stream is over and report back with more info, if any.
His audio is noticeably worse, and he mentioned using a laptop now, so obviously he doesn't have his full setup, which is probably still at his family's house.

A female voice has been heard, and there's a cat, so the GF's house theory is likely confirmed.

Watched the start of the stream, and he didn't go into any more detail than what we knew, as expected.

"I had to move very suddenly, only grabbed my laptop, I can't say more about it, I'll get my equipment back eventually."

Also he confirmed he's at his girlfriend's place.

John Wolfe said that it's one of the things he's planning on doing a charity stream for this year, which is strange because usually he's been pretty good at researching the charities. His discord is full of gender specials who keep asking for trans lifeline so that might be why.

I have liked Jesse for a long time, but he is clearly frustrated that he hasn't been able to break out into the next level of his life (both professionally and personally) Some months ago he was talking on one of his podcasts about getting 'advice' from YouTube about doing more collaborations again like he 'used to', and his response being "Every one of those people are either married and have kids or are dead" which has to be a blow.

That's just life isn't it? Nothing last forever. He can try to collab with the next generation of content creators but I can't imagine any kids are gonna want to work with Jesse. I guess in hindsight you can say it was extremely stupid for anyone to think that Romanian authorities were so oblivious that they only realized Tate was in the country when they saw the pizza box. However, I assume most people would have preferred this to be true as it would have been absolutely hilarious.

The way this narrative became almost universally accepted as fact can likely be attributed to basic human psychology, most effectively conveyed through this image macro:

His work hasn't gotten better, nobody I know has ever heard of him, he doesn't have a single mention on the farms, and yet he has tens of millions of views on several videos. I've never seen any drama surrounding him, but I just get this ache everytime I see his shit that there has to be something fucked up behind the scenes.
