I was under the impression that the "sister" he mentioned wasn't an actual sibling, but rather someone who he was very close to, like a sister. I may be mis-remembering though.

According to a panel interview with Alaa, Salah does have a sister.
While Salah isn't a very observant Muslim, a close friendship with a woman would be frowned upon in Kuwait.

No, someone will feel bad for BBJ. They won't be a KF user, they don't need to know the farms or anything, too. Chances are they're a vet tech whose job it is to put down animals like BBJ, and they likely will cry to themselves knowing that they're another poor cat who was left to die in their hands.

If she studied in Canada, she must have qualified for a student visa. If Salah were in college, or were accepted by a Canadian college, theoretically he might qualify for a student visa on the Canadian side (and wouldn't even need Fatso, but college requires work and nobody ever seems to want to work in Chantopolis). This, however, does not explain why she could leave Kuwait and Salah supposedly can't. Do we know for sure if the sister was born in Kuwait? Would Kuwait grant Salah exit and re-entry if he held a student visa (which theoretically could benefit Kuwait, were he to return educated)? Might Salah have some conviction or other black mark on his record preventing him from leaving?

I'm sure by now she has made herself feel better by thinking that SHE isn't the one doing it. If she takes them to a shelter they will do it on their own. She knows this, but doesn't have to feel ashamed because she merely took them there for rehoming. After all how was she to know they would kill one or both of them? ha
In a few weeks the cat sperging will only be a memory and the cat killing remarks will boil down to a few "Remember, she killed her cats, and she is a liar".

First-world countries are much more stringent on tourist visa approvals for third-world applicants. Rightly so, since the likelihood is high that potential tourist visa recipients will abuse it and become illegal immigrants, and handling illegals costs the government resources, whether it decides to deport or take care of them. Much more so towards applicants from sand nations, what with terrorism still being a credible threat.
Even if Salad came from a non-sand third world country, he'd have to present documentation that shows he can pay his way throughout his planned trip and that he has enough ties in his country of origin to show that he has zero intentions of becoming an illegal migrant.
The first one Chins can maybe cover for, probably. But from what I understand, proof of finances needs to be a bank account that has kept a certain level of money in it for some time, Chins can't just put thousands in it days before Salad puts in his application, they need proof that you're financially stable and can afford to travel for leisure. One-time infusions to make an account clear the minimum show money needed near the application submission tend to show that the applicant isn't that well-off to cover tourist plans, thus making it seem more likely that the tourist visa will be used as a means to become an illegal.
The second one is harder to provide documentation for in Salad's case. Usually you'd include a certificate of employment from a local company or maybe proof of home ownership or something to prove to officers you intend to return to wherever your home country is. Salad does not have a job anymore, his company is questionable if it even exists as a legal entity, and he certainly does not have a house of his own. And this assumes that he'll be given leeway in that the Canadian embassy will be lenient and allow him to claim Kuwait as the de facto home country of record for him (unlikely). If he has to apply as someone who claims Syria as his home country, he even has less to show for proof since it doesn't seem like he has any ties at all to that country to make him return there. I'm sure I may be overlooking other stuff that may be accepted as proof by the consulate, I'm just going by the more common proofs applicants use.

At least the shelter staff give a nominal shit about cats. They'll be jaded and detached, but they'll say "what a shame" and call her a sweet old lady and stroke her head.
The nurses caring for Chantal, if she even has any, will lose patience for her shit pretty fast. They'll be less affected by her death than the vets, even though to the vets BBJ is one of thousands. They'll remember how shockingly young Chantal was for the shape she was in and what a massive cunt she was until her dying breath. They might say "what a shame" but in both cases the shame is on Chantal.
That's assuming she doesn't slowly die on screen from a cardiac arrest that she's too high to realize is even happening.

Yeah i said the same in chat earlier. As soon as he does something that even remotely upsets her (please please please let it be 'ghosts her at the airport when she tries to go back') she's going to claim he forced her to do all of this and was super abusive "behind the scenes" and we'll learn where the cats actually ended up. She'll also claim she never wanted to be a muslim but was so, so scared of him and peetz will be her best friend again.

I just had a horrible thought. There has been so much sperging about how and when Chinny will die (I added my own thoughts and was obviously wrong) but what if she is one of those people where the heart just...refuses... to stop beating? To name the most extreme, non-PL example (Am nurse) I can think of on top of my head, Hisashi Ouchi, where his heart just refused to stop going even with his entire body basically turning to mush.

So what do you think it'll take for Salah to finally fuck off? It looks like he's decided to stick it out for a least a while longer, for the money/lifestyle (video games and unemployment) if not passage to Canada. If he's willing to put up with her waddling around Ottawa in leggings and a full face of makeup, living with James, getting high as fuck every night she's been home, needing constant contact, going public the minute he doesn't do as she wants, and publicly lying to him daily, then what's going to be his breaking point? She's making a fraction of the money she once was, but somehow apparently it's enough for Salah to excuse all of that.
At this point, I'm not even sure he'd leave if Nader proved she was messaging him while in Kuwait. Even if Nader shows screenshots (highly doubtful), she'll just say it wasn't her and I'm sure Salah will accept that.
The audience she promised never came. He gets less viewers on his streams than Nader does. He doesn't have a league of adoring fans that she probably promised. He is faced with criticism constantly, and apparently is insecure about himself (English proficiency, his laugh). His friends and family disapprove. She isn't keeping house or cooking, giving him successful YT channels, and there is no sponsorship in sight.
Is he really such a loser that he'll accept being publicly disrespected in a dozen ways just for Chantal's current paycheck and the low odds of sponsorship in the distant future?
