I don't know if this is related to the thread, but I was very happy to know that the band that made "This Machine" from Sonic Heroes and "Waking Up" from Shadow the Hedgehog is still alive and continues to release music.

Also the dude they often collaborate with also released track called This Machine. Coincidence?

I find it actually disappointing that Gioeli and Senoue didn't do a seperate music project that isn't buttrock.

Sonic Heroes had a few cool tracks. Acts 1 and 2 of the casino and desert stage come to mind, not to mention the bonus stage tracks are pretty good. As you mentioned, "This machine" is another good one, but i also like Eggman's theme (specifically the "Doc. Robeatnic Mix" version).

Supporting Me (the boilizard theme), Meteor Herd and Mad Space from Adventure 2 are cool.

Otherwise nothing else from that era tickles me the right way.

Sonic's theme songs from Adventure 1 and 2 are still awesome, as are "Open your Heart" and "Live and Learn."
Team Sonic's theme from Heroes is really corny, but there's this earnest energy about it that makes it really enjoyable.

I vaguely recall TheChaosSpirit putting out another callout/'speaking my truth' google document some years back when she was involved in some other internet drama. I got a minor shoutout in it for 'falsely accusing' her then-boyfriend of saying racial slurs in his public discord server and somehow contributing to her declining mental health. In reality it was just searching up whatever slurs were in the chat history and then pointing them out when he and his mods tried to double down on the PC facade. As you'd expect, they purged their old messages.

The main highlights of this document would be further confirmation of Lizzie Silvas' (sonic schitzocow) claims that Emi and Ryan Drummond shacking it up in ~2017.


The reddit jannies are trying to lock this down hard.

I would expect this to bring out all sorts of spergouts and lolcows in the Sonic fandom, at least amongst those who are terminally online. The last time there was this much of a shitfit thrown by these same people, it was over a joke bit in an old AugieRFC video making fun of Sonic fans who ship themselves with the characters.

I recall Emi or her friends (the same ones currently fighting each other) even had an online brigade against Augie and his associates, or at least furiously subtweeting about him. They genuinely thought he was talking about her specifically.

Is this from that leaked demo? There were a couple other tracks like Broken (speculated and now confirmed to have been a track planned for the game) that were found in there too.

Edit: Also the Szuters/Magna-Fi were planning on releasing new tracks around the late/mid 2022 period. Haven't kept up with them myself, but there's a few dedicated youtube channels that've archived their works.

It believes it can use this to build on the success of Sonic moving forward. According to Sega's latest earnings report, Sonic Frontiers has sold close to 3 million copies worldwide since its release date last November.
