A couple of days ago, I was curious to see one of my favorite content creators plugging the upcoming Nebula debut of The Prince. Ofc it turned out she's new to the roster and probably wanted to pay her dues to such a Legend like Abigail Thorn.
But because this Creator has always come across as very knowledgeable and sincere, she managed to make The Prince sound as though it was worth watching. And much like the London reviewers, the chosen adjectives were very carefully chosen to highlight the "risks" taken by its creator and its unorthodox approach without being concerned with silly things like, you know, if it's any good at all. Because apparently diversity trumps storytelling ALWAYS. Or something.
Oh well. Look forward to reading the reviews here. I'm sure nothing will be held back.

He started late and has no talent and is a hideous parody of a real woman, but he's managed to use his YouTube following and troon status to produce and star in a reasonably successful play and land a decent role in a big-budget TV show. He isn't an extra per se, his character has a name and lines. But it's all front loaded. He's one of the people that live in New Babylon, which is where a lot of the series takes place. He only has a credit for the first episode, so expect him to have lines and interactions there. It seems he won't show up again after that, except as an uncredited extra in crowd shots in the aforementioned town.

It's also extremely clear from interviews with producers that a 'diverse cast' was one of the production's goals. He is absolutely nothing but a diversity hire, as is his character (a 'trans woman' in the 1800s or whenever this takes place). He has a few lines in the first episode and shows up in about three scenes. He has about 3 lines in the second episode in a very short scene. I'm watching the Italian dub and it's sort of hilarious to hear the voice actress trying to make sense of Olly's wooden performance.

I think the play is really the only thing that went very well. The bit part roles he's played have all been trans characters except from the time he got 2 lines (and no character name credit) in that Steve Coogan thing. The only thing he's got coming up is that 'big franchise' role he kept bragging about, but that's most likely either fallen through or a super small role since he's constantly auditioning.

Put it into perspective. Most people who start out trying to be actors don't even get that far. They either give up or just do small theatre gigs and adverts and stuff. I don't recall when exactly he seriously started doing acting but it wasn't very long ago was it? He is objectively punching above his weight. I'd like to see him crash and burn too, but the fact is, troons are trendy and he's good at leveraging that.
