This is horrible.
The Montana House just passed a right to bully transgender kids.
It states that it is not bullying for students to "use someone's legal name" or "refer to them by their biological sex."

Montana HB361 just passed the Montana House. It protects teachers and students rights to "use a trans person's biological sex pronouns and legal name." Critics call it a right to bully.

Though some proponents tried to argue that it was not a right to bully because of a "bullying carveout," opponents and even some proponents of the bill argued differently. One proponentl, Republican Mike Hopkins, stated, "Kids have no right to be treated kindly in school"

The fact that this bill was passed through a state house 3 days after the murder of trans 16 year old, Brianna Ghey, is obscene.
It shows exactly why we need to prevent this kind of bullying.
Yet Montana's house saw that and said, "MORE."

Montana appears to be trying to speed run all of the worst anti trans policies. Currently having passed at least one committee:
- A drag ban
- A detransition/medical ban
- A bill that makes it legal to refuse care to LGBTQ+ people
- An obscenity law targeting schools
- And this.
