I hate to jump in so late on this but I'm only catching up now. This means he was definitely suicidal and it was planned and intentional. It's extremely common for suicidal people to suddenly appear normal and happy in the time leading up to their suicide, because they've made the decision to kill themselves and they're finally happy they have a way out. Some kids (especially young ones with sensory issues related to fabric) are unapologetic nudists. I’ve seen a friend’s young autistic son go from fully dressed to completely naked in literally the blink of an eye because he just plain hated clothes.

Is it normal to be able to lock the front room in your own house? If not, I don't want to even begin to imagine what unsavoury things went on in there that required that.

There is a lot of early-mid 20th century housing in Southend. The house where I am resident dates to the 1930s and has lockable interior doors, though some of the keys are missing. The house that I lived in before this one dated to the same period and also had locks on all the interior doors. It is very common in domestic residences of a certain vintage.

Which is why antidepressants have the "side effect" of suicide, because people shake of their lethargy but still want to kill themselves sometimes, and now they have the energy to do it...

What does Archie represent to these women? They never met him or his mum as far as I can tell. It’s obviously sad and horrifying what happened to him but this is MENTAL.

I thought this from the start. Photos of 12 year old throwing out (imitation) gang signs, Elizabeth Duke rings on fingers, does not get the money rolling in like photos of a 5 year old do.

And she is still peddling this shit about visiting Italy for a convention about Archie. You would have thought there would be loads of photos of her very important Italian trip, plus news articles, seeing as she lives her life through the media. The only thing she has put out regarding Italy is a (badly filmed) clip of a man in front of a screen showing a series of photos of Archie. It was obviously not filmed by her. If it was, we'd have seen her grinning face in it.

Imagine the trauma of your child dying and then getting told no don’t worry, they will visit you in your dreams, and it IS a visit and not just a dream - oh but if you aren’t open to it they’ll never come and see you ever. I can’t imagine how sad and heartbreaking it must be.

Hollie has obviously attracted a lot of followers who have also lost children and I suppose it might ease their pain to help someone else process theirs. However, I still think a large part of this behaviour - from everyone, not just the bereaved parents - is performative and competitive. Archie's story touched them and they want to show that they've been affected the most, that they feel Hollie's pain the most, and that they're a Good Person Doing Something Nice. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that they are coming from a genuine place to festoon the boy's grave with stuff, but why not quietly and privately place the tribute, think your thoughts and then quietly leave? (disregard this; I realised while typing that it's because they want to be seen and validated by Hollie)

As for Tracey Boyd, I don't know her circumstances but getting excited to place her zombunny statue at a child's grave is WEIRD no matter what.
