If I went to jail I would want my neighbor or family member to take care of things. In Tom's world he calls his neighbor "Bottom Bitch Bobbie" and yells at him across the parking lot. Namaste. His family hates him and prefers him to be in jail.

More likely to happen than a space jew apocalypse too.

He's been gone a while now. Did he figure out that life in jail was better than living on his own? I imagine they mop the floor and do laundry at least once a week.

He may have been put on a hold if he was acting insane enough and if it was involuntary due to being in custody it could be a week or two.

They're not pets. He only bought them to flip for a quick profit. He didn't even seem to have any real plan for marketing them.

That said, it's usually not difficult to arrange animal care if you speak to a social worker.

His arraignment is on Tuesday but if he's in the nuthouse it should get deferred.

If you read his plan, he wanted to rent the space above the pet store to sell his fish.

The plan was to pay the pet store for space to set up shop. Buy fish from the pet store. Mark the price up. Sell the fish for a profit.

To be honest, this whole fish thing was retarded from the get go.

Opens up a store that operates on his front lawn like a lemonade stand. Sells rocks, fish, and traced drawings. Doesn't actually have the traced drawings, he'll mail them to you. Also a kitchen that serves food that he keeps in his inflatable pool.

He's also a member of the "Paid Our Dues Brothers (and Sisters)" Band. He's the only member. Going on tour summer of 2021 (or maybe later).

That is so retarded I think he's seriously gone loopy and belongs in a home at this point. Why the fuck would they let him set up a shop competing with them if they could just sell them for more themselves? How could he sell them for so much more that he could even afford rent, even if he could do that?

I think specifically his value added contribution was going to be the dirty glass vessels and gravel (ie. "habitats") to house the fish in. Who doesn't want to keep a fish and live plants in a brandy snifter that can be easily knocked over? All you have to do is trust that the dirty hobo (I'm sorry, I mean "ecosystem engineer") selling it to you has balanced the nitrogen cycle out so your new pets don't die in anoxic slimy goo. And why wouldn't you trust a man with such innovative ideas as "throw all my food into a kiddy pool in the Arizona sun"?

Add on the fact his first thought is not "I'm being scammed" but "An international conspiracy is foiling my schemes!" and you got yourself a solid mark for a couple of years.
