Gi joe is no longer safe from the tranch.
I like how the thread treats these like they're "suprisingly still in stock" when the whole reason they aren't selling well is because they randomly switched to slightly altered retro figure reissues and basic ass discount chain level engineered transformers but kept charging the premium prices for the things.
Before they swapped to O ring reissues, the Gi joe "retro cardback" line was a continuation of the now over a decade old and therefore extremely expansive 25th anniversarry line that started out with just reissues of older ones with different paint but started releasing entirely new ones like the cobra trooper that added 6 inch scale collector line leg articulation to a really small figure. Hasbro then randomly decided to make it a reissue line of the old O ring figures with slightly altered paint ONLY released as 2 packs for $40, a price so ridiculously inflated compared to $15 a figure basically nobody wanted them save for those who had money to burn. people were actually REALLY hyped for these transformers things when they were announced before they realized the hollow dollar general engineering at a fucking over 100 dollar premium for ALL of them. These would sell well if they weren't charged at such insane prices but that's not the world we live in. We live in the world where it's mainly youtube reviewers who get it (some get it for free) and people like fucking kevin lmao.
