Same! Literally the only food I've had while in the US that was a bit crap was a little prepackaged pot of dessert yogurt. It just seemed like it had way more filler/sugar than any similar dessert-type yogurt I've ever had in the UK or Europe, but I picked it up to scratch a sugary itch, not to eat something healthy. I also find American chocolate to be hit and miss, but again that's probably a nostalgia taste thing. That's massively outweighed by all the good food I've had in the US though.

As for Jim, I watched his video with bubbles and Mini Eggs (would have been better with crisps or popcorn, but had to make do with what I had). Not as good as the last one, and the cameos were as cringe-inducing as ever. Person I'm with immediately clocked that Stacy Cay is a man despite his attempts at female presentation, so that was hilarious.

He says his content hasn't changed. Let's assume that's true for a moment, that still isn't good enough. There are so many video game youtubers that do what he does except do a much better job. They're either better at producing video game content, or they genuinely enjoy video games, two things Jim has never been able to do.

Even extremely boring channels like YongYea or LegacyKillaHD do a much better job than Jim because those two understands that their content needs to be made asap in order to stay relevant to people interested in current gaming news/gaming controversy. And arguably being boring helps them in that case because it makes for better background listening and the fact that being boring means that you don't utterly embarass yourself with your disgusting appearance and disgusting comments about your appearance is also a plus.

TL;DR - Jim's content being, "the same as always" has been part of the problem for years now even before he trooned out. He needs to get better at youtube or fuck off.

Ashens has always struck me as the kind of person to never completely cut people off no matter how much he might dislike them, probably explains why the only interaction I've seen between him and Jim outside of the sub loss special is him commenting about Jim's Godzilla pinball machine on twitter which is the kind of shit he likes.

Ashens entire thing is being friendly with everybody, yeah. I'm surprised Jim didn't get Guru Larry to play a bit on this one, though. Wasn't Larry on the 900k special? Pretty sure he was. Is that guy still even alive?

I can’t believe the mad lad actually did a repeat of the last cope-a-thon video. I thought to myself - surely he has to have some self awareness. Surely he knows at this point that this isn’t a sudden exodus of transphobes, that he is destined to spiral forever towards obscurity and all the z-lister arsepats in the world won’t change that.

What really tickles me is the sheer level of delusion he is under. Truly top tier triple ayyyy copium that he is huffing. The sub bleed is all transphobes, despite beginning months ahead of the trooning. The videos have gone back to old formats, with varied topics and a lesser focus on idpol. When we know it be the exact opposite, and that his tired, loveless content was what drove many of us away from him in the first place.

Since he clearly reads this thread I had thought of offering some kind words to the poor bastard - telling him that he doesn’t need to turn his whole existence into a fetish to be happy, that a bit of exercise with a buddy would do wonders for his mental wellbeing, and that if he could find something to enjoy in games (if not the games industry itself) then maybe people wouldn’t unsubscribe every time they’re reminded he exists. But he’s clearly too far gone. Auld Jim will be coping and seething until the day Rowling’s death squads break down his door - to find him and his polycule of fellow fetishists huddled together, ranting about how it’s all the transphobes fault.

Oh well. It’s still a long way down, so let’s enjoy the ride.

Not only still alive but also last man standing on Channel Awesome if you don't count Doug's direct employees and Brad Jones who I believe was friends with Doug and Rob even before all the Internet shit. Also his Youtube channel seems to be doing pretty well so good for him.

How does Jim even pretend to himself that its transphobes anymore? Facts that you can just look it up and see that his decline started before the troonening aside, does he think the transphobes stuck around for about a year as he paraded around like an obese steampunk prostitute and were okay with it until it suddenly just became too much?

Shit posting aside, Ashens's cameo is the most tolerable 40 seconds of the Jimquisition in the past 3 years, Ashen's original cameo included. For 40 brief seconds, I was just watching a video by a person.
