you mean he made that video and didnt play it at all? I can't be assed to hear his shrill voice without someone to roast him the entire time so i didnt watch it when it came out.

The "controversy" amounts to some troons screaming about how wizard game is bad because wizard book was written by a woman who said there's only two genders. To be honest, it's been funny but not actually that interesting as trannies screaming about literal genocide are a dime a dozen.

I'm well aware of the situation surrounding it. quite enjoy the game myself.
 
Jim isn't a troon, he is a "non-binary" therefor a transtrender, someone who just wants to be hip and unique. Same reason he wrestles despite being extremely unfit and lacking any skills needed for it, he is a risk to the fellow wrestlers due to this but fuck them as long as Jim gets to feel special.

People aren't unfollowing on mass because he is a troon (because he isn't) but because people are finally seeing him for the shallow, over egotistical, lazy and perverted man that he is.

But this outrage from Jim isn't new, he was called out well over 10 years ago for not beating the games he reviewed.

No admitting any fault on his own, but it is us who are wrong. Now FF13 is indeed a shit game, and looking at the trophies he did make it far into the game, so doubt anyone would have issues if just stated he didn't beat it and outline where he was done, but he can't do that because of his ego, so he instead reviewed the final chapter of the game he didn't even play. And that doesn't even explain other games he reviewed such as Army of Two where he did the same thing.

I've only passingly followed this thread and BOY was I surprised in the worst way when I googled "is Jim Sterling still married", haha oh wow wee. What's currently going on there is nightmare fuel, stuff they make folktales of. Hard to complain about life when I will never know what the inside of their home smells like

If we're sharing Jimquisition stories, I left long before the current saga. It wasn't even for a politically motivated reason or anything like that.

I just realised that I wasn't just not having any fun listening to him, but listening to him was actively depressing. I think the final video I watched was when he re-posted his 100% objective review for a week. His content was just getting super repetitive as well, and that video, while attempting to be an example of re-releases or something like that, was just a shining example of the fact the show wasn't going to get better. I just drifted away from his content and never looked back until I stumbled upon this thread.

WELP, GUESS I WAS WRONG.
And so were all the people who agreed with me. Clearly we overestimated the point where he'd realise he's in a tailspin and should stop highlighting it.

According to my view on his channel, he's already at 798k. So if this was meant to put him in a positive light, well... it didn't.
