Keffals jokingly referred to it as either 'Prescription Heroin' or 'Prescription/Legal Meth'. Which I know isn't entirely helpful as these 2 things would have totally different effects. It was one of the streams I did a breakdown of but I felt it was autistic to be including details like what prescription medication Keffals was on.

Worth noting that during the Shoe stream, Shoe did a "ADHD Swagger" which Keffals mentioned and could relate to.
Talking about taking their 'normal" pills just before the stream to prevent their ADHD brain from going haywire, something that Shoe was able to understand as she seemingly also needs ADHD pills.
So does that mean Keffals is on a ADHD pill that could be considered a "downer" as opposed to a stimulant? I'm not diagnosed with ADHD so I don't know how these medications work.

Keffals' pupils in a lot of these clips scream someone who is on stimulants to me, but the speech patterns/slurring is likely opiates of some description. London Ontario has a huge opioid issue (as does the rest of everywhere I think these days), but a lot of the skids out that way would have done speedballs if the riches were plentiful - I don't know if Lucas is even remotely capable of conceptualizing such a thing but it may have been something he was taught in that area as a young drug user. He could also be smoking the shit off of tinfoil, which might be why he isn't nodding specifically in the way I would imagine if someone ran the length of streams that he does, could be a couple things. I dunno if ADHD amphetamine abuse would cause his pupils to be that big (or counteract the pinning of pupils you would more likely see in opiate users). Couldn't have happened to a nicer person tho lol

By the way, the only rehab place I can think of in Ontario would be in Ottawa. I hope he has fun with the rules there. Including the one on personal hygiene. If he actually does go, I hope to hear some stories on the random room searches.

My mom used to be a nurse in Ontario, so I can chime in on this.
They have a wing for druggies to detox in most hospitals for this reason. if they are having medical issues that are not emergencies, medical floor deals with it(where my mother used to work), and if they were serious, it is emergency's problem to treat them. when they are detoxing, sometimes they are wigged out and extremely dangerous. it all depends on what they are detoxing for and how long they have been on it, and what their mental state is like.
Given how mentally unhinged keffals is and depending on what drug he/she is on, he/she will be strapped down to the bed. he/she will be able to do nothing but stare at a ceiling until it is feeding time.
If she is expecting the ritz hotel on the taxpayer's dime, she has another thing coming. they will make sure she is sober when she walks out those doors.
And not to mention, that is just the detox. he/she will have to be sober before ANY rehab program will accept him/her. if he/she doesn't stay sober, they will kick him/her out and do the detox all over again

Related, but how are mental health services handled in most countries with a public health system? As Keffals is also clearly in need of psychiatric evaluation as well, is mental health care also subsidized?

Benzo and alcohol withdrawal can cause death. Heroin could aswell, but that's primarily because the people that do die during heroin withdrawal have other health complications, like a weak heart.

In between Dublin and today what harassment has Luke gotten that wasn't from his own fucking side? Where is the constant stream of swatings? Where are the boxes of already paid food delivered to his apartment? What did we do besides exist that led Luke to get fucked up on dope and do a personal army request on some dumbass he was beefing with?

Lastly, I wish these drug and discord addled men would finally all agree on the number of people the site's killed.

I highly doubt he's using full on heroin/fent (same dif nowadays if they're cutting non-oppiates with fent.) "Regular" high strength pharma opiates he needs for his ever painful amhole seem more likely. He's also abusing ADHD meds for sure because nobody who troons is going to turn down meds that the doctor offers them unless it's actively dysphoric or unpleasant. Other than that it's probably alcohol, weed, benzos, and coke.
Lucas is probably lying that it's bad enough to kill him, I'd assume stretching the truth of how addicted he is to benzos/booze to arrive at that conclusion.

If he thinks that that stressed out Nurse is gonna treat him like he's at the Goddamn Ritz Carlton, it's gonna another thing coming. A bit of a powerlevel, but I've worked in inpatient mental health, mainly dealing with people that were experiencing major psychosis through drug addiction or people that were born with severe mental illness such as paranoid schizophrenia, bipolar 1 and 2, along with schizophrenia caused by drug use such as meth, etc....

Unless he's got money pouring out of that hole where his dick used to be, the most he's gonna get is three square meals, a bed, and no access to Twitter. Also, he's gonna be around other people that are coming off of hard drugs, sexually pre-occupied pts, pt's that have been off their meds for s long, they don't even know who they are and how they got there, some may think they're Jesus Christ coming back to save us, others pts they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground, or people that failed to delete themselves. His inpatient social worker is gonna make sure that they get the right help and it's up to HIM to make sure that they attend the meetings, etc...they're just gonna make sure that whatever drugs they're on, it's fully out of their system. Once they're D/C, it's "Have a nice life, don't come back....if you do, we're just gonna label you a frequent flyer and start the whole process all over again. However, please don't waste our time."
