Why do these "rationalists" all talk the same? They all take 20 minutes to say something that would take a normal person 1 minute to say.
I know the easy/default answer is "They're just trying to sound smart!" but there has to be a more in depth explanation. All of them (even the "catty gay man") take FOREVER to get to the point, whether here or on their blogs. It's so annoying and makes me want to skim their words.
And yeah, I know a lot of KFers have short attention spans (myself included) but I can read plenty of long ass comments on KF without issue. Example, over in the Tranch thread, people were sperging about animal husbandry and knitting, two subjects I don't have an interest in, yet they wrote it in such a way that I read their entire autistic essays and even found myself enjoying learning something new.
This has not been the case for rationalists. Even when they're talking about something that I actually have an interest in, they do it in the most annoying way possible. I thought it was just one or two of them, but so far it's ALL of them. How do you even learn to write/talk that way? It's almost like they went to the same school and were taught that way. Someone clue me in.
I have thought about this, and more recently in particular.
Goes without saying that they're all extremely autistic but also terminally online. Even when there's some real life social circle they all have to write and constantly check the typing diarrhea update spots.
Because it's just a diary, some place to pretend to have (limited) social contact because real social contact isn't denied but is too horrifying for their autism to handle.
The reason is no one cares about what they have to think, so they become their own fan. In some other kin fashion.
Their parents likely don’t understand their fixation with weird internet bs. Especially normies around them have no fucking idea.
They’re talking to themselves and past one another
The conversations they have with themselves in their own heads for each page long post is probably the only "conversation" they have that day that isn't on some furry forum.
There's even lots of evidence for this.
A ton of them Troon out, which is inevitable with the rates of judaism and autism they have. But also their own surveys of loneliness are off the charts, including the ones that live close together. All of their 'friends' are terminally online losers, the only thing they could hope to date is a man that cut off his dick and wears drag.

If you take a sample of their writing and pretend it's your job to edit it you quickly see what the problem is: there is extremely little actual content. It's almost all filler that could, these days, practically be AI generated.
For all the worshipping they do of this theological notion of "AI as god" that will be hilarious. Set a few bots loose on their forums to infinite seinfeld back and forth and they will die of starvation after forgetting to feed themselves, endlessly replying to the bots.
