Two problems.

One, the difference between Pornhub and the “sex work” they’re promoting is that Pornhub is giving people what they actually want. No matter how woke and representative people claim to be, in private they’ll jack off to whatever they want. Racial fetishisation? Abuse of women? Hell yeah! Nobody’s getting off watching a skinnyfat troon wanking or a blue-haired genderblob in her underwear.

Two, Pornhub is meant to be grubby. You don’t talk about the fact that you’re investing in it, just watch your shares. You invest in a company like Lips because you want to virtue signal. Sex work is full of exploitation and the people who get into it tend to have major issues. It’s all too easy for your virtue signal to backfire when the platform gets abused.

I don't want to think about Elliot with his shirt off if we're being candid. I've shared a table with him while eating and have had a few round table discussions -- he's relatively mild mannered but he does possess that annoying passive aggressive vibe that most tech workers exude (I'm probably included in that regard, so whatever). He is annoying though, and while he never openly discussed his weird sexual fetishes and behaviors around me in public I'm almost certain that if the topic came up he would have gleefully explored that topic area (at which point I would have grabbed my bag and left his vicinity). Like most ancaps, his activism only really rears its ugly head when he's behind a keyboard or surrounded by sicophants. As much as he'd like to "smash capitalism" among his oppressive patriarchal peers, deep down he knows he's just another techbro who got rich using the same system he proclaims to be against.
