There is no shortage of risks that an ally useful idiot can undertake for trans people. They’d like you to attend protests, report your colleagues to HR if they misgender someone, call out your friends for making transphobic jokes, send angry tweets to elected officials who support legislation that (for example) would stop children from accessing chemical castration drugs. If I were to point to a writer that is both a good wordsmith and not a tit, I'd say C J Cherryh. At least, I've not heard anything about her being a tit. She doesn't use twitter, just has an old-school blog where she spends her time talking about writing and interesting events in her life. No political rants that I can see. It's quite refreshing. Some of her books are fucking weird, but they're a good sort of weird.

What does she actually do to encourage “stochastic terrorism” against trans people?

To paraphrase the trans people’s claim, “I have never heard of a trans woman raping someone in a woman’s bathroom, but I hear all the time about trans people being killed in Rural areas”.

I have never seen or heard J.K. Rowling ask, imply or dog whistle for people to hurt trans women, but I have seen, heard and witnessed trans people ask and engage in harassment of Rowling, attempts to destroy her livelihood and even threaten violence against her.

If the trans movement has taught me anything, it’s that most people are sheep.

It was so egregious that it made me reevaluate every ‘cancelled’ celebrity and personality.

Don't know if he's been posted before, and couldn't find any results from the search bar, but a non-binary tranny (Verity Richie) who seems to be a Harry Potter fan has made a couple videos to cope with JK Rowling not supporting his disfigured axe-wound.

This include questioning if Harry Potter actually had an anti-consumerist message from a franchise that was obviously made to make money. And spending a half hour trying to question if fans can "take back" the books from Rowling and look at the bigger picture of ethics.

Watching this drama unfold escalate to this level of insanity has really changed my perspective on social media as a whole especially twitter. It's turning people into legitimate sociopaths and I'm wondering if that's a psychological degeneration caused by likes, blocking, and getting multiple comments from people espousing praise. It's kind of unsettling to watch, not going to lie.

Social media is probably having an effect on people, but I don't think it's that simple.

My armchair theory is this: The Internet is disproportionately full of insane people because they are exactly the sorts of people unlikely to have normal lives. Well-adjusted people work, have friends and family, have real-world responsibilities and hobbies, and spend time out in the world doing shit, so they will inevitably spend less time on social media outside of the occasional Instagram or Facebook post simply because they don't have time to spend online.
Insane ill-adjusted people have little or no family or friends, are unlikely to have a job, are less likely to have hobbies that require leaving the house, have no adult responsibilities, and otherwise don't touch grass, so they have all of the time in the world. But they still desire human interaction so they inevitably spend all of that time on the Internet. And trannies are among the most dysfunctional of all, so you can be damn sure the Internet will be full of them.

So the Internet doesn't drive normal people insane so much as it is inhabited by more insane people than normal people.
