People are responding negatively because you're asking "is there a good synopsis" when a good synopsis is the first thing that greets you when you open the thread and people don't like pointing out obvious information.

Honestly blew my mind some people recommended the whole 1000 page thread, when 90% of the thread is just users critiquing everything this faggot has done.

I'll respond because I like your avatar. A lot of us in this thread were posting on SA 15-20 years ago and know Lowtax incredibly well.

Basically if you want the Cliff's Notes he started a humor website in the late 90s that caught on and got very popular called Something Awful(SA). That site spawned a forum that became even more popular than the site, perhaps the most popular discussion forum of the web 1.0 era. The forum had a $10 registration fee plus fees for changing you avatar and stuff like that. In this pre-social media era, it was hard to find good places to shoot the shit online, so people ponied up the dough and money started rolling in. This lead to Lowtax getting incredibly lazy and addicted to easy money. At one point someone offered him millions of dollars for SA, but he turned it down because it was too much of a cash cow.

He was known to go on ambian & boxed wine benders, renting an office for SA and burning around his shitty small Missouri town in a GTO. He went through two divorces, had three kids and had several public meltdowns. One of his wives ended up in a shelter for battered woman, with Lowtax insisting she was just this crazy whore. Throughout all this, Lowtax got more and more distant from the forums and it ended up getting taken over by a series of shitty admins until finally getting totally taken over by trannies in the early 2010s. At that point every time he tried to exert any form of control over his own website he got shouted down by trannies and immediately cucked out. So Lowtax went off to do his own thing, streaming shitty games on Youtube for an audience of like 20 people, enjoying a passive income from SA.

Fast forward to 3-4 years ago and he hired a branding consultant from Utah to help relaunch SA. Everyone knew they were fucking, but they both denied it. Things came to a head when he got the cops called on him for beating the shit out of the branding consultant that he totally wasn't fucking, which Lowtax blames on waking up with sweaty feet and slipping. The forums went into open revolt and strong armed Lowtax into selling it to a user for a few hundred grand.

He continued to just exist, streaming to basically no one while eating gas station hot dogs. He spent all the money he gotting selling the site out of spite so his ex-wife can't get it. The judge catches on and rules that he has to compensate his ex wife, so Lowtax blows his brains out.

There's shit I'm not getting into like mangosteen, the boxing match, gold belly pies and Shmorky, but that's the jist of it. There's 20 years worth of material there.
