All of the Tomb Raider games are massively discounted on Steam. The PSX games are all under $1, and the new games are $3.74, $5.99, and $11.99 respectively.

Edit: Also, Atelier Ryza 3 just opened for preorder, and her thighs look thicker than ever.

Which melee multiplayer game should a person get, Chivalry, Mordhau, or For Honor?

I didn't like the more fantasy aspects of For Honor when it was still new news, but I've come to realize it embraces that Titanfall design I've been sucking off (fight AI trash in between fighting skilled players).
Mordhau allows one to end thy foe rightly.
I'm leaning towards Chivalry because the sequel seems to have actual decent mounted medieval combat which games pretty much always ignore.

I'm really enjoying Labyrinth of Galleria. The ability to knock dungeon walls down to make shortcuts and find secret areas really elevates it above more brain dead "explore other rooms" DRPGs. I also like that the chance to be attacked is tied to a stat rather than an active skill.
I have about 8 hours in and the plot is mostly setup.

So Blood Bowl 3 is out and it's a hot mess. Apparently it's buggy as hell, you need to create an account and sign in to play single player, and it's a microtransaction laden hellhole.
Oh well, there goes another franchise into the bin.
I was really looking forward to that, loved the first two, and got exited when I got the email from steam saying it was out, only to open the store page and see "Reviews: Overwhelmingly Negative". Being a bit buggy on release can be understandable sometimes if it's been rushed due to publishers demands or something, but this thing has been delayed by over two years and it sounds like it goes beyond "a bit buggy" right into being barely functional.

I have been playing a bunch of quite old turn-based (and real time) tactical games lately because I am traveling for work and only able to use my work laptop for gaming. Think shit like Jagged Alliance and such. Certain old games of the sort can definitely be rage inducing with RNG-related fuckery (80% chance to hit, miss all 5 shots, get fucking wiped out when it's the enemy's turn because every single shot he takes crits for some reason) but it does typically teach you a lesson about overextending your party, using the right dudes for the right job, teaches you to leave certain party members with unused action points so they can provide overwatch and interrupt enemies on their turn, etc.

All in all I feel smarter for playing these games

Just wanted to blogpost because uhhhhh i'm bored

Even the positive reviews talk about the bugs in a cucky 'omg you can't expect a game to be released without bugs, u whiners should wait for a patch' way.

Does anyone here have a "depression game"? A game they come back to every once in a while when they feel their mental state/anxiety is lowering? Mine is Spec Ops: The Line.

A year or two ago, Jersh mentioned a vidya on MATI and I only remember a vague description of it. Please help if you know what I'm on about.

Pixel art. Highly autistic survival game. Difficult. Can pick a bunch of different classes for your character like drug addict, cop, etc. Random events that can kill you on every play through like zombies, rabid dogs, helicopter crashes.

Surely someone gnome saiyan?

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead?

Yep! Thank you kindly.
Got any suggestions for similar games? Looking for things that run well on a potato
Can't think of too many games that are similar to Cataclysm off the top of my head besides NEO: Scavenger, which is basically a crackhead survival, Sseth made a pretty fun video on it:

In terms of autistic games in general you have Factorio which is pretty fun and addicting, Dwarf Fortress which has a adventure mode where you can select different roles and has tons of wacky shit along with the normal fortress mode, and RimWorld which is very similar to DF but in space on a shithole planet that you try to build a colony and base up and survive (does get laggy with later game colonies with massive waves of enemies but there's mods to help with framerate I believe). Sseth also has videos on all of these if you're interested, great channel.

I don't know if anyone has covered this or not but the developer of Atomic Heart has given into the SJW outrage mobs on Twitter and has censored their game. It's a minor censorship. Nothing real major but it it's still annoying. It involves the Soviet cartoon Nu Pogodi. In one of the clips that takes place in a museum you see a statue of an Africa with a bow and arrow and it's clearly blackface. The face is black as coal and the lips are big and red. It's funny because I believe these Nu Pogodi cartoons aren't that old either. I think they are from the 70's or 80's. America stopped doing blackface in cartoons in the 30's 40's and 50's. The Soviets kept doing it a lot longer. I have no problem with it by the way.

TLDR; Mundfish censored the game.

If you want to play the game as the developer originally intended, you can fix it with a simple drag and drop of a file. It's an mp4. All the files for the clips in the game are mp4. You just download the uncensored version of the clip and drop it in.

To get the games location quicker just go to the location of the game in your Steam Library and right click on the game then go down to manage and over to local files.

You get further instructions and the uncensored mp4 by clicking the link below.

It's a minor issue but still annoying. But the fix is very simple. It's easier than removing the fag flags from the PC port of that Spiderman game.

Anyone playing Octopath 2? Is that too weeby for you guys? Started off as Agnea since dancer is a cool class in RPGs but switched to Hikari since Agnea is annoying
