How so? I haven't noticed any glitches so far (other than needing to limit the frames to 120), and I've just reached the third world. Though, I suppose they might have just patched them out since you played it.
Main one I recall was Sparx sometimes not grabbing nearby gems. Also some item placement bugs.
They happen more in the 2nd and especially 3rd game.

RPCS3 is finally in a solid state (pun intended) and I'm replaying one of the best games ever from the PS3 era, that still gives new games a lot of shit.

There are still some minor glitches, but overall it's fully playable from start to finish and it's just amazing how well this game has aged.

I'm creamaping Paradox, Anno, and The Hunter right now, first time, pretty scared having my virgin creampie

I feel like shit doing this, I've never pirated anything before in my life, but Paradox are whores, Ubisoft are whores, and the guys that make The Hunter are obviously whores if they're selling single maps at those prices. I'm scared of getting banned from stuff I paid a lot of money for.

might just be a generational thing, but I never felt guilty about pirating. I grew up having to pirate out of necessity. Though at least for games, Steam pretty much cut down on 99% of game piracy for me.

Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic (and their YT channel and wix-hosted website) got delisted today because of a butt hurt fan of theirs claiming to own the copyright to "Cosmonaut Mode" or something.

The announcement:

The hero who crashed this game (with no survivors!): https://steamcommunity.com/id/Storpappa

From what i heard he is also moving to DMCA other youtubers for mentioning the game and Cosmonaut mode.

Tried out "Wanted: Dead", a title I actually had high hopes for. Wow, was it a disappointing embarrassment. The voice acting is atrocious, the animations meh at best and the gameplay very lukewarm and boring as fuck.
And they're charging full price for it. I am glad I didn't pay a single cent, and I never will. Even the disk space isn't even worth it.

Can any one recommend some shooters from the PS3 era with decent PC ports (steam deck would be nice, but I'll take windows 10). The boomer shooter meme has got old and I want some more narrative focused games without long stints of NPCs talking at me like I care. There's Halo MCC, the Gears of war games, Dead Space, Dying light, Dead Space but what else is worth considering?

GTA 4, Bioshock series, Far Cry 3, Fallout New Vegas.

I saw that Ghost Song was on Gamepass. I didn't even know that game came out! It's unplayable on PC due to crashes even after four months of patches.
it runs on unity, imagine fucking up with one of the easiest asset flip engines...

but if metroidvanias are your thing there are quite a few alternatives.

the hunter had a humblebundle a while back, think was like 17 bucks for everything. ubishit isn't really worth playing besides some old stuff you can get for a few bucks (and paying 5 bucks on a keysite most like doesn't make those frogtards any money anyway).

No! I want to play Ghost Song, the game that I first saw GIFs of on Kickstarter in 2013, the game that was öater called a scam and was completely dead for several years! I need to finish this.

So far(when it works) it's kind of fun and have some neat ideas. Your arm cannon overheats and starts to glow red if you fire too much too fast. This lowers the firing rate BUT there's a Samus Returns/Metroid Dread melee attack that gets more powerful the hotter the cannon becomes. This creates the basics of an interesting metroid style combat system. The gun isn't that good when hot, the melee is kinda shit when the gun is cold.
Quick combat tutorial: run in and start blasting, then start stabbing everyone that looks weakened because your melee is now very powerful. Alternatively, build up heat shooting small guys and then turbo shank the big guy. Jump away, resume blasting small guys. It's stiff and weird but there is something to it.

I even pirated the GOG-version to see if that one is any better, some people like to blame everything on Gamepass. No, it's even worse. It is a mystery in what game the way is fucked. It hates full screen. 1920x1080 window is bugged as shit, 1280x720 windows is the only way to go. There's an option for v-sync, turning on v-sync effectively means turning off the game smh...

Midnight Suns is a ton of fun despite making me want to cringe my skeleton right through my skin with the writing. I cannot, however, square how or why it HAD to be on next-gen shit. The graphics aren't even better than the PS3 could do. Seriously, the models and environments look straight out of Dragon Age: Inquisition on the PS3. And they were wondering why the game failed to sell. Well gee I wonder if it has anything to do with arbitrarily cutting off access to a huge playerbase on older hardware :squirtle:

What is the best game based around being air cavalry (helicopters)?
Microprose Gunship! 2000. Its old as shit, but its the gold standard. The Amiga and PSX ports both lend themselves to easy emulation on modern systems. Apache/HInd were also fantastic. ARMA series has some fun rotorhead play, too. Jane's Longbow also deserves some love, too. Also old as dirt, but a classic. The genre is barely alive after the 1990s. Need moar tank sims, too.

Really, Gunship is kinda arcadey in the sim aspects, but its always been my fav. I loved the campaign mode.

that might be it since it's not that common. if you have an AMD card you can run it with virtual resolution where it runs 1080 in a smaller "fullscreen" window, no idea what the nvidia equivalent is (or if it even has one).
Thank's, I'm going to give it a try!

Gave Factorio a try.

I love the amazing mechanics of WAIT FOR RESEARCH BAR TO FILL UP complimnted by WAIT FOR FACTORY TO BUILD RESEARCH TONIC.

Eventually the gameplay opens up to WAIT FOR TRAIN WAGON TO SLOWLY FILL WITH OIL, then WAIT FOR PUMPS TO UNLOAD OIL AND REFINERY TO **SLOOOWLY** REFINE THE OIL

No thanks. I'll replay Bioshock and Gothic 2 instead.

I couldn't get into Factorio at all, but then I accidentally put a stupid amount of time into both Mindustry and Satisfactory, despite being based on the same thing. Maybe Factorio's drab art style put me off too much.

But yeah, it's not for you. Games like that are perfect for the kind of people who look at circuit boards and earnestly want to know exactly what's going on.
