For all the shit I give Warski it’s not like he’s the worst person to talk to especially for something like this, he knows the lore, he knows the grift, he can hang out decently without sperging and he’s into comedy. The interview is decent.
The problem is Warski has a low IQ, it’s just obviously Porsalin is far smarter, and there are times where Warski gets so retarded and struggles to comprehend what’s happened/said, or will go on a Low-IQ intervention that goes on too long. Metokur’s interview was a good example of who someone like Porsalin should be interacting.
It’s also rich hearing Andy talk about grifting and shameless promotion/backstabbing, when that’s his bread and butter. You can feel a bit of discomfort as Porsalin laughs about Mersh’s attempts to milk paypigs, and Andy nervously chuckles knowing the spotlight could just as easily be turned on him.
Pretty sure Porsalin likes Jesse and likes Andy, but I’m sure them being intimately involved with Mersh was another factor. It’s not a bad idea if he’s trying to get more eyes on the documentary by pulling from the relevant audiences despite me thinking they’re both unfunny hacks.
It’s also relevant to remember that this was filmed when Andy and PPP were still making a few decent Kino Casinos, back in the early days. I was fucking tuning in and subscribed, it was novel and effort was being put in. This interview happened before the Powerchat debacle and before PPP said he was cold in the cabin, kissing the feet of Daddy Jim and begging for mercy like a monstrously fat child who did something naughty in front of Father.
I have high hopes for the Fatrick documentary based on the clip that was released.
