Thanks.Tolkien repeatedly and explicitly stated that dwarves were at least partly influenced by Jews, and indeed that the Dwarvish language is based on Semitic tongues.

He specifically said the hobbits are like English people, specifically rustic people.
It's interesting, though, how Tolkien didn't get attacked even for 'bad dwarves' like Thorin, who threatened his entire people by wanting the Arkenstone. Then again, Tolkien is male (and dead) and they don't have a hard on for him as they do JKR. In ASOIAF, the Iron Bank of Braavos is viewed as one of the most ruthless, richest banks around, staffed by the most conniving people in the Free Cities. That is very 'Jewish coded'. Again, no attacks there. There's a pattern there I am clearly missing.
