I went to visit a friend recently who lives near one of the Wizarding World parks, and I can happily report that it’s far from a dying franchise. It’s almost the opposite: it’s become an evergreen one. The wizard part of the Universal Studios was above and beyond the most crowded area of the park, and I observed people of all ages, races, religions, and gender presentations enjoying Rowling’s world and happily shelling out $69.99 for a plastic stick with a light on the end. Many, many people. And these people read the books to their children. It’s not going anywhere, not for a long, long time.

Over-optimistic because the protected categories of people, such as troons, have a built-in safety net. On Topic, Hogwarts Legacy having 12M sales, makes me feel good. The game is not a 10/10 but it is FINE, and it is february/march so time for fun games. The wizarding world is a nice world to have a game in! I like this game, it is fun. Even with its flaws.

I just remembered the "I'm a Vegan" meme. For the most part, I always thought that was a meme, because I rarely came across people who made being vegan their personality even online.
