The neo-Nazi Denis Kupustin (pseudonym - Nikitin) was identified as the leader of the "Russian Volunteer Corps"Born and raised in Moscow, 36 years old.
In 2001, together with his mother, he moved to Germany
under a program for jewish immigrants. He settled in Cologne and made acquaintances with Neo-Nazis from football fan groups. According to his own words in the early 2000s he was a member of a gang of skinheads, participated in the organization of murders and beatings of migrants.
During the Maidan in the winter of 2014 he visited Kiev,
actively supported the Ukrainian Nazis. Since 2014 he repeatedly visited Ukraine and from 2017 has lived there permanently. He established contacts with many groups of local Nazis (including the "National Corps", "
Carpathian Sich", "
Azov" and others), helped them develop cooperation with like-minded people from Europe.
Engaged in crime; in October 2018, he was detained by the SBU on suspicion of drug trafficking, but a short time later he was released due to the intervention of Ukrainian Nazis. In August 2019, he was deprived of a residence permit in Germany. In May 2021 he participated in an attack by neo-Nazis on participants of a gay pride parade in Kiev, was arrested by the police, but was able to escape.
In August 2022, he became one of the founders of the Russian Volunteer Corps gang, the backbone of which are Russian neo-Nazis. He announced plans to recruit Russian football fans.
