Bob Chipman / Robert Lewis Chipman / MovieBob / Game OverThinker - "Coastal Elite Thinker" who wants conservatives, Christians and manual workers eradicated. Universally ignorant; cannot tell reality from sci-fi. Sore loser with short fuse. Odious Disney shill. Tranny chaser and general creep. Fat and diabetic.

I can get it, a lot of AI art programs are going online and lifting from art people spent hours on, but most of the people whining seem to just be idiots who also want to use it but don't know how. I actually tried to make a comic book from some of the programs out there but AI generation is just too chaotic at the moment.

With Bob, it's another bad tactics and bad targets thing, but it's also showing him what people have been telling him for years: His job is not safe from automation like he thought it was. He assumed he would be fine while plumbers and electricians would be starving in the street, but as I showed earlier in the thread, it's very easy to go on Chat GPT, type in a few prompts, and get a review out of it. In a few years, he's fucked.

But also, the most important thing: If this gets to the point where anyone can use it, artists aren't special any more. The skill level blocking everyone from being an artist or creator is gone, and that means the special creatives can't feel good about themselves being superior to the trash they entertain.
I don't think AI art will ever one hundred percent replace every single artist ,but it will replace a lot of artist especially like corporate logo artist.

Literally just because of the consensus surrounding it and he think it will make him look morally superior by pretending to care about “soul” in art.
If Bobby can see the "soul" in Jeff Koons, he is a better art-ficionado that I am.

So, now these two ideas conflict - Computers that can create cartoons from nothing? That's good, right?

But it'll put the creative geniuses out of work, they'll have to go get jobs with the, uhg, working class! That's bad, right?

So which is it Bob? ONE of them has to be "wrong" either technology isn't always good, or creative geniuses aren't really that smart and unique.......?
It is a mistake to assume Bobby cares about the coherence of his beliefs; all we can do is to laugh at his inconsistency.

Bob is a Blue Curtain Analyst, god knows what he sees in Koons.

All the Blue Curtain shit is strictly post hoc; Bobby and critics of his ilk get emotional attached to something (we might speculate that, in Koon's case, Bobby feels elated when pop-culture kitsch is being "uplifted" as serious, capital-A Art), and then come up with intellectual justification. It happens to " serious" critics as well; Bobby (and incidentally the troons who denounce the wizard game) is just as guilty as the "New Musicology" crowd in this.

"Reason is the slave to Passion". Nowhere is Hume's adage truer than in criticism.

The only winning move is to trash the newcomer, the AI art algorithm, as having "ruined" the perfectly balanced dichotomy of the world (and therefore is probably being done by those mayoghoulen!) when it could've just left everything alone, perfect as it was. Therefore, AI art is not "real technology" but something ..... else. He'll come up with a term for it soon enough, and then it'll be added to the list of suffixes he uses to express his disdain for the Wheelbarrow wight trash MagaChud not real people from Sisterbang County who create fake art by pushing computer keys instead of knowing how to draw of the world!!!!!

Because the billionaires can enjoy pricing (via taxes and other mechanisms) all the common people out of the city other than their necessary service workers until the SUPERIOR FUTURE renders them obsolete? Bobby Bobby my bro, you just said "definition of a thing remains the same".
"They're not atheists, though. They just think they are because they don't ascribe to a conventional religion. The still worship illogical things."

Isn't this what Bob has been saying is his religious position? Remember, he's not atheist and often alludes to the idea that he's Christian (but not like stupid Christian) in some way.

"It's BELIEF that's the problem. ... It's the logic-overriding FAITH that's the problem."

Correct, the difference of Bob Chipman Thought is that it's based on the Thinker science of Bob's proven personal superiority. This is not BELIEF or FAITH, Bob back in the early 2000's studied via revolutionary science the SUPERIOR FUTURE and recognized the prominence it will place on movie reviewers so he deliberately chose to align himself with Natural Selection rather than fall into obsolescence. It was a very simple logic that escapes most Believers because of their refusal to forgo superstitions and instead scientifically analyze the proven knowledge of the SUPERIOR FUTURE and the deliberate operation of Natural Selection towards it.

All due respect, but you can't slap a fucking swastika on a harmless dweeb like Adams and not demonstrate preachy rage.
We seem to have different definitions of rage and preaching. And I guess you don't see the humor in using the cubicles to make the statement in the style of a Dilbert comic. The expressed opinion being hyperbolic garbage doesn't make the comic itself any less clever, and it still doesn't demand anything of the reader.

"I've busted my ass to be a ...global person."
Bobby confused global with globular.

Still, allow me to indulge in a little Blue Curtain myself. It's Sunday and my mind keeps returning to this tweet.
hobbies.png
Here Bobby compared religion to hobbies. My first question is "what is the concept of 'religion as a hobby' be like?" or "what makes traditionally religion so unlike a hobby in Bobby's mind?"

Some possibilities:
1. "Hobbies are never used to excuse bad actions." -- Obviously a non-starter: think golf courses, safari hunting, or playing the wizard game.
2. "Hobbies should never override logic". -- Doesn't ring true at all.
3. "Hobbies should not involve BELIEF or FAITH." -- we have discussed ad nauseum that almost human action involve belief, but of course Bobby has a very idiosyncratic notion of "BELIEF" and "FAITH". Unless he clarifies it, this postulate leads nowhere.
4. "Hobbies should be perfectly encapsulated; it should not affect the rest of the person's life, especially his world view and politics." This seems to make more sense, and I'm almost ready to accept it. But then if you accept the Feminist-SJW dictum "The personal is political", the assertion that some sphere of your activity can be non-political is simply nonsense. Indeed Bobby just compared Marvel comics to religion -- if he keeps getting political when he praises Spiderman (especially the nigger variety), then I can't see why people cannot get political when they praise Jesus.

My second question is: granting that one can participate in religion exactly as a hobby, how "delightful" will this "hobby" be? Obviously it would suit Bobby's thesis that praising Jesus "as a hobby" is no more enjoyable that praising Spiderman, but the fact is that many people report high satisfaction in participating in religion, much higher than they report on usual hobbies. If turning religion into hobbies reduces people's satisfaction, then what good is it?

I'll return to regular screencapping shortly.

Bob doesn't understand, fundamentally, what faith is.

He, like the fedora-tippers, believes faith is a blind, unquestioning adherence to backwards, superstitious doctrine.

However, when you go back to the time of the disciples in the New Testament, faith was a thing, about things they'd SEEN. Peter saw Jesus walking on the water. He walked out to Jesus on the water too. But he got scared and lost faith, and started sinking. ALL WHILE HE WAS WATCHING JESUS JUST STANDING/WALKING ON THE SURFACE. Faith is NEVER referred to or inferenced in the Bible as "blind". When Jesus said, "You have seen and believed, blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe", he wasn't referring to blind faith. He was referring to people trusting the words of people who were there and HAD seen.

In capeshit terms, I guess you could say Peter lost immersion (in the 'story'), lol. Something something suspension of disbelief (that people could walk on water).

But no, to Bob, it's all "Believing the Backwards things taught by a nonexistent Sky Daddy but ackshually pedophiliacs who want better access and secret justification to diddle kids so that they're holding us back from the Holy Soopeeryah Fyootchah that I somehow EARNED by being "global", friendo!"

I mean, Bob's so stupid, despite going to Catholic School (which he claimed didn't have money??? The Catholic Church is hardly penniless, Bob! Maybe they were just cheap), he entirely missed out on the points of the commandments: Love God with your whole essence of being (heart, soul, mind), and Love Your Neighbor As Yourself.

Or, maybe he did get taught it, but choked on the "Love Your Neighbor As Yourself" part. That would have been peak Kwisatz Tarderach.

I guess when Bob calls religion a "hobby", he means the ritualistic part. Liturgy, holidays, etc. Except, bob thinks doing these things without purpose other than to have something to do is "delightful". He equates it to watching Capeshit/"other movies". Similar to how some atheists in the Jewish community do stuff like celebrate Hannukah. So Bob sees people that don't "need" to believe in God to do fun things like 8 Crazy Nights, and thinks you can divorce the ritual from the essence of the religion.

Fun fact: Jesus celebrated Hannukah. Not in the modern iteration - they didn't have potato pancakes back then and probably not even 8 days of presents - but the Feast of Dedication mentioned in John 10:22 was basically Hannukah.

There's a website that I remember got shared in the Euphoric Atheists thread a while back called History for Atheists by Tim O'Neill, an atheist who argues against a lot of the more retarded takes of the aforementioned euphorics like Bob. On one of their articles (Great Myths #11 - Biblical Literalism) they talk about the various ways different writers, philosophers, and groups discuss the Bible. In referring to Origen's (185AD - 253AD) teaching/curriculum:

"First [the student] was taught dialectics in order to enable him to distinguish true from specious arguments. Then he was instructed in the natural sciences, astronomy and geometry, in order to transform the irrational wonder about the universe into a rational admiration for the maker of the universe. After physics followed ethics, whose goal is to acquaint the soul with itself and to perfect the disciple in the virtues, not only the four cardinal virtues of wisdom, temperance, prudence and fortitude, but also patience and as the mother of all virtues piety. The curriculum reached its climax with theology which was meant to explore the ultimate cause of the universe. Here first the opinions of Greek philosophers and poets were subjected to close scrutiny before the master gave access to true theology by explaining the oracles of God and his prophets as contained in scripture."

Whether one agrees with men like Origen, Aquinas, and Augustine, or more modern apologists like Lewis or Chesterton, pretending that they were all drooling retards who are intellectually outclassed by a middle aged man who thinks Mario 3 was the apotheosis of gaming is one of the more pathetic aspects of Bob's worldview.

Honestly, I really like the History for Atheists site because it is remarkably good faith, even if I disagree with their ultimate conclusion and some specific takes. Also, because in the margin of the page, they post a couple testimonials, including this one.

"“Tim O’Neill is a known liar …. an asscrank …. a hack …. a tinfoil hatter …. stupid …. a crypto-Christian, posing as an atheist …. a pseudo-atheist shill for Christian triumphalism [and] delusionally insane.” – Dr. Richard Carrier PhD, unemployed blogger"

Count Moviebob among the stupids who think of themselves as smart, because the service industry's more vulnerable to automation than Moviebob claims it to be. Think about it: If you're running a fast-food joint and robots with easily, readily replaceable parts is will have lower long-term costs (including hired maintenance) than humans do (take-home pay and all inherent business costs like insurance)... who or what would you rather have in your kitchen?

Moviebob defines "average" as someone who displays human decency, does not hate people, does not post bigoted comments on-line, and doesn't use Twitter. Suffice to say, Moviebob has never met any of these criteria (decensored):

Bobby confuses the simplifications made in economic models with articles of faith. It is like saying that physicists who work with the formula F=ma are all superstitious, because in real life, things such as friction and air resistance ensure the relationship will not strictly hold.

Someone just realized that automation is for cutting costs and making service jobs redundant. Bobby thinks such thinking is stupid because customers will have a say.

Given we know how much Bobby understands Economics, let me spell it out for him: customers like cheap things. If corporation passes some of their savings to customers, they'll be all in line -- and if automation means customers can avoid aposematic they/thems, then they'll line up even if prices stay the same.

It just dawn on me why Bobby is so gung-ho about automation: trannies have neither the strength nor the spoons to work!

Nigger praise Louis CK (?) that he is the Blackest white guy -- "in all the negative things when people think of Black people". Jerry Seinfeld (?) think it isn't true.

So Bobby thinks niggers regularly jerk off in front of women. Nice to know.

One of the good things about G*me*ga*e is that afterwards, failed conservative actors can achieve minor celebrity status simply by saying "there are only two genders".

Like the believers he detests, Robert rejects empirical evidence in favor of his own obsolete beliefs.

The jobs with the most mechanistic, least dynamic bodily movements will be automated first because of the sheer expediency. Automating a job like oil rig operation will take time, effort, and a level of machine durability we just don't have.

EDIT: NINJA'D BY @Positron DAMN IT ALL
