I actually find Vtubers to be on average less prone to the parasocial rabbit hole than regular streamers. There's an abstraction layer between the watcher and the person behind the character. You're not supposed to believe the overreactions like for regular streamers, but instead to interpret them as part of a cartoonish character's personality and comedic style and storytelling. People believe they can fuck the #1 Twitch thot if they donate enough for her to notice them, but nobody* really believes they can actually fuck the cartoon dog or rabbit.

What we're seeing here is the culmination of the incel to troon pipeline. The overwhelming majority of MtF trannies you see nowadays started out as lonely, socially stunted men. People who would browse places such as /r9k/ and engage in niche hobbies like grand strategy games and milsims and the like. They were sold a lie by groups like Reiko and his mentally ill ilk and fell into a pit of phony acceptance and validation. The lie in question foretold of new friends. A chance a love. A chance to feel special. All things these people desperately needed.
Once they went under the needle, they were gone. their brain kept rewarding them with dopamine. They developed AGP by proxy. At critical mass, they began to exploit the systems which used to hold them down. They've climbed the oppressions ladder and know full well how to brigade with their status due to being on the receiving end in the past.

One of these outcast communities was the VTuber community. Don't forget that Pikamee was one of the first. These people used to watch her. They know her story. They know full well of her weaknesses. They knew she was an easy target.

The trans suicidal thought rate would also be low if they weren't conned by the pharmaceutical industry into giving them hundreds if not thousands of dollars for their HRT and blockers + the 25,000 dollars+ bottom surgery costs in America and were instead given therapy to help them through their gender dysphoria.
