I have no idea how you could watch this and grow defensive rather than admit it was 15+ years ago and the whole thing was pretty insensitive/is not content you’d stand by making today. That’s wild and disappointing.

Tarks has 0 anime porn in his timeline & is the opposite of a MAGA weirdo. As are most people roasting you. You'll generally find it's the opposites of MAGA that take exception to fierce racism, Adam. Is that why you called it a boner stimulator? Does being racist make you hard?

It's funny to see how quickly people are to come to arms for Yoshi P just because he's now complaining about the difference in culture, when those same people laughed at those jokes fifteen fucking years ago as kids/teens. Fifteen years ago a game like Baten Kaitos and even SMT Persona was weird, because it wasn't Final Fantasy, you know, the same series Yoshi P is working on now? A lot of JRPGs got that three out of five rating and mocked by Morgan and Sessler cause they didn't care to play them through, it was "as needed" until the next game needed to be reviewed.

I hate to defend Sessler, but back then JRPGs were different because devs just made them how they wanted. Nowadays you could argue there's no difference because the Japanese are tailoring for western culture. Alternatively, if Yoshi P was working on any other game franchise and/or company, no one would give a fuck. People are only really taking his input seriously because he revived FF14 from the shit state it was in.

I'm still inclined to feel that if it were anyone else, it would not be of importance to note this objection, and there is still a cultural divide when it comes to both western and Japanese RPGs that even Yoshi P notes, but I digress. Sessler wasting time on stupid skits and pointing out clevage is still dumb when we really just want to know if it's a game worth playing. Sessler doesn't give the game a real review, just mocks the main character's name, which is what the original tweeter was mad about before the discussion devolved into people being mad at the supposed racism in the video.

His Kingdom Hearts review is funny. It's very tame but he sounds more excited about the "Hollywood star power" than the actual game. I swear they were more harsh on KH's camera but I guess it was another review.
