Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Looks like the counteratack cope the Ukrops were spamming failed miserably; 4 BMPs destroyed and a dozen or more AFU lost:




They were coming from the direction of Hryhorivka/Dubovo-Vasylivka (UA controlled) towards Berkhivka (RU controlled).

Someone replied it looked like a massacre:

Another reply provided coordinates and images to support their contention this was a failed counterattack, not a withdrawal from encirclement

They claimed the geolocation as 48.642585, 37.953224, but another also as
48.66289797625636, 37.91057048050293 (someone else with stronger autism than mine can check those out).

So it seems the plan was to counterattack northwest of Bakhmut to draw Wagner away, allowing the AFU to get out but it didn't work out that way.

Bahkmut is a debacle for the AFU. the city continues to be held at all costs by the army, but at the same time there is a withdrawal. it seems to me only some units are answering the calls to fall back and others are holding, this has come about due to constant miscommunication between the political forces urging the defense of the city, and the high command urging evacuation.

I am also seeing reports that the newly founded 47th and 88th separate mechanized brigades have been sent into a counter attack to try and turn the tide in the north. these might be the units that were torn up by artillery a couple posts up.

Them blowing up the bridge which was the only escape route for a bunch of their own troops should be a clue. It seems that there are some in the Ukrainian military command and political leadership who want to see mass killing of their own forces in Bakhmut. Why that should be I don't know. Maybe there's some kind of fucked up logic behind it, sacrifice the conscripts to save the elite units and some equipment? Honestly the city should have been evacuated weeks ago, it's been a lost cause since January. I don't enjoy seeing white Europeans killed en masse for no good reason, especially when a lot of them were likely forcibly conscripted. It's appalling but shit like this happens when you elect a coked up Jew as boss.

When Bahkmut was being attacked by the regular russian army a few months ago, they made a balls up of it. attacks without support, too little prepatory fire all sorts of issues. and it was a meat grinder for the local Russian units. when wagner took charge and ran it there way, the battle turned flipside and it was the AFU falling apart. the high command for the AFU are not idiots. they know this and recognized it for the coming disaster it turned into. the political leadership still think its the same situation from back then.

If there's a significant rift between these factions, I wouldn't be surprised if there was to be a coup of some sort in the near future. That is if the political leadership keep sticking their snouts into the AFU'a operations.

Probally not though, Jewlensky is required for his formidable skillset of begging for gibs off globohomo leaders and pretending to be a tough guy despite being 4'11.

Political optics and probably pressure from Zelensky, I guess.
EDIT: The political optics will be propaganda about how the brave Ukrainian soldiers staying back to protect civilians from being kidnapped by le ebil Putler, sacrificing themselves as the result. Zelensky will continue to play his part as the actor of Heroic Leader of Ukraine.

Zelensky office issued an official statement. Bakhmut holds and will be reinforced. The troops will not withdraw and the fight continues.

Assessing the course of the defense operation, the President asked Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhny and Commander of the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops Oleksandr Syrskyi about further actions in the Bakhmut direction. They spoke in favor of continuing the defense operation and further strengthening our positions in Bakhmut.

This makes a lot more sense when you realize Zelenskyyyy is still just an actor, this time he’s just acting as a fake and gay leader of a fake and gay country. Holding Bakhmut makes no sense other than losing it is a propaganda loss from the perspective of a bunch of (((ghouls))) who have no connection to the people getting obliterated there and in fact take pleasure in their end because of how their great great great grandparents were treated back in the Pale of Settlement days.

It’s hard not to think of fedposting when talking about Robert Kagan, Anne Applebaum, Victoria Nuland, et. al. They will be boiling in excrement in gehinnom just like they believe Jesus is.
