I have to agree with this. The guy doesn't really realize that posting pics of yourself wearing bumpbows is a good idea. The same can easily be said for most of his other content that he uploads. I wanted to see how deep the rabbit hole went and that's why I started finding some of the craziest things he's uploaded to this website. That said, I have nothing against this guy personally, I just found him to be strange. Not because of his autism, but because like I said, the things he posts are just so odd that I can't wrap my head around them. I still can't, to tell you the truth.

Quite honestly, as much as I feel bad for him having autism and all, I can't really defend the things he does either. Let's be honest, we all knew this was going to go badly for him the moment he played the "I have autism, please love and pity me" card. There will be people that will defend him on the autism excuse alone. But like Chris-Chan, I get that part of it is the fact that he can't really control what he does, but that can't be his excuse for everything. This is a battle that he has to fight on his own, like it or not.

One of those describitions mentions a youngest daughter. Please tell me Bryce is stupid and meant his sister. Since if he has children, we need to find out how that mistake happened.

Yeah, it's more of a good thing I went through much of his gallery. He's seriously beyond help.

I tried to contact him again recently, and I basically said, "Look, I'm sorry that you're getting treated like this, but I can't really blame them for mocking you due to the stuff you posted. Did it ever occur to you that maybe if you didn't upload strange stuff like your Bumpbow wearing pictures, people would leave you alone?"

His reply?

"Tell them to stop in the name of humanity - and ask deviantART to enhance their comment reporting process."

At this point, it was confirmed he was a lost cause and I blocked him, this time for good. There's no way I could help him anyway since the person being harassed has to report the people responsible themselves, and like I said, after the things I found out about him, he's not worth defending. Even then, trying to get an answer from him wouldn't really do anything since he basically dodged my questions and just wanted the trolling to stop.

Honestly, I don't know why some of these folks (regardless of whether they actually have good intentions or are just trolling) are even trying to have a dialogue with Bryce. This guy is so fucking autistic, and his comprehension is so low, I'm sure all he hears is "Blah-blah-blah, autism, blah-blah, big complex word, blah-blah, Nick Junior, blah-blah, cartoon."

Then, depending upon which of his trigger words he's heard the most of, he will respond with either "Autistics require patience and understanding" or "Do you drive a Mitsubishi?".

ETA: Fuck. I think I just wrote a design doc for a Bryce Cherry chatbot.

A couple of pages back, one of our Kiwis was asking if Bryce was some sort of electronics savant. Well, I just came across these two videos of Bryce playing with an oscilloscope.



Going by the titles, I thought he was going to turn his machine into a voice synthesizer or something that would actually create the sounds but the truth is much stranger than that...

In the first video, he created an image of a Nike swoosh and, in the second, he created a Golden Arches image.

Yeah, I think he's a bit closer to "idiot" than he is to "savant".
