It's very possible that she simply posted that in order to not offend her friends or family. Her roommate Zax is a troon. Can someone explain to me why management and talent agencies seem to be behind every V-Tuber? I get why it happens in Japan, there's basically no way to break into the entertainment industry in Japan without them doing all the legal stuff required by Japanese law, but why do Western V-Tubers all have reps, and why does it seem to all be Asian companies? Is it that technically demanding to rig up a V-Tube animation, or is the software all owned by the companies or something?
Same reason why every big youtuber has a network. Easier to gain notoriety and FAR easier to get simpbux (even if some of the cut is given to the manager)

Well yes, I am aware that most modern youtube talent has a team behind them. I'm more curious why Western V-Tubers are signing with agencies with Japanese connections and Japanese talent management culture, which is fairly controlling and stringent compared to how Western talent agencies operate.

I'm just going to point out that the largest acency in the West, Tsunderia, accounced this year that they are shutting things down.
Because the Japanese companies, ANYCOLOR (Nijisanji) and COVER Corporation (Hololive), were in this sphere first and are the market leaders. They are larger companies who don't just do V-Tubing; they have other ventures, which means they have a stable source of income outside of V-Tubing and will remain financially stable no matter what happens. Because of their size and early success, they were able to dominate the market early before most other players got in on the ground floor and joining one of them as an agency Vtuber is considered to have "made it" for most people. The only other large company involved in V-Tubing is Sony, who have at least two of their own groups and are "partnering" (actually looking more like a buyout) with the formerly independent PRISM Project. Most other independent agencies, on both sides of both oceans, are fly-by-night groups that collapse after awhile, with many of them being outright abusive "black companies" (like the infamous WACTOR). Tsunderia, one of the earliest known U.S. based V-Tubing companies, just closed down, and its only been operating since 2020. Vshoujo are established now, but they aren't like a formal agency, are more like a talent cooperative. They've also only been reticent to bring in people outside of their established "clique" of friends, outside of their two Japanese talents. Long running companies like Phase Connect and production kawaii, and newer corps like Idol Corp are still here and growing, but they simply don't have the market pull of the larger corpos.
Pretty simple. Entryism. The early arrivals seem okay so nobody panics. Then they worm their way into some kind of authority position like jannying. Then they bring in other troons.
