The biggest thing about Jan 6th was Alex Jones telling people not to go in. That it was a honey pot, he if I recall correctly was literally standing outside of the area saying it’s a trap.

This is not a surprise though, Alex Jones is well aware of Agent Provocateurs and one of his first pieces of media known nationally was about the WTO protests in 1999 or 2000 where the government was using them to instigate shit with the police and ensure the crowd could be pulverized. He correctly suspected that there was a huge number of agents and bad actors from the police in the crowd.

The amount of undercover cops was insane, the government is hiding behind its policy of hiding agent's identity from the public because once agents start getting identified as being under cover that day people can crawl the known videos and showcase them agitating the crowd much like Ray Epps is known for.

Keep in mind I'm not of the opinion that the whole thing was some Fed plan or Antifa trickery, my belief is that the the police got too big for their britches and launched tear gas against a group VASTLY superior in size relative to the riot squad, any other year this may have worked, but not after 6 months of high intensity rioting. The crowd knew the game and how to crush riot police by that point and many had been exposed to tear gas multiple times by that point in time and had no fear of it. Hell many went through the military, a place where they purposefully gas you as part of your training. Once the crowd was in a frenzy they beat the shit out of the riot detail got onto the steps of the building and had a "Now what??????" moment. Some broke windows and got inside then those giant doors opened and the crowd just aimlessly wandered around.

The real "fed plan" is the lack of manpower after 6 months of high intensity rioting. They purposefully left the riot detail short of men and right before the scheduled date there was a lot of shifting of position from the Capitol Police to a position of "uh we need more guys" that was shot down. The whole thing was designed as a media spectacle, we saw the same tactics used against protesters in Michigan where the anti-lockdown protesters were allowed into the building by police, but only after the media was allowed to position themselves inside first for maximum coverage.

The fact that my entire family has been told by the MSM not to watch anything owned by Rupert Murdoch. Tells me he's similar to Elon Musk. He participates in the game. Fair point, but I don't think that is that is as bad in the long run as the Chinese collapse will be. A lot of the worst things going on in the USA are the results of a minority of the people being very loud and being very annoying. Black crime wouldn't be as horrendous a issue if the justice system hadn't decided to try and fix it by appointing woke D.A.s who let people walk, woke bugmen wouldn't be wielding as much power if they had their shit beaten out of them and had to actually face the results of their positions, and so on.

I actually saw this segment. In covering Desantis. I don't understand how people can be so far into a bubble they don't see the bias and can't watch it going, "but that's not exactly true, you're leaving out... but that's not what it's about."

John Oliver always takes something, then runs on a rant of absurd analogies not based in reality for laughs. Taking someone minor, then comparing it as being the same as something absurd. There definitely is an attempt to set the tone and narrative with these shows around people and issues. All the lab leak stuff this past week. It is signally to dismiss it. The jokes aren't funny because they aren't jokes. It's instructing people.

I notice a lot of people that fall on that side seem to have adopted into their ideology a way to dismiss anything that runs counter to the established narrative. There's no room for nuance. Everything has to fit into one neat narrative. It has to be super simple.

If John Oliver had credibility when talking about the book banning. He would have acknowledged that some books pushed by the left go too far in what they include for children. Then said that then DeSantos's reaction went too far as a result. Banning books that are fine. There is a middle ground, which doesn't even have to agree on what that is. The problem is they can never acknowledge anything on their side/narrative can be wrong. Can't acknowledge anyone on the other side may have a point.

People who watch John Oliver will think it's purely about banning anything to do with gay. Doesn't at all explore the issues and complex nature. Doesn't feature the books that lead to the need to stop books. The people on the left that are following just reject the premise there can be books that have gone too far.

While just stupid comedy shows, but they are fascinating because you can see a really plain way the media instructs people to think, and the very limited slice of reality they get. They simply don't work if you know anything outside of a MSM bubble. You sit there thinking, "but that's not true" at the basic premises of the jokes. It's peddling misinformation and distortions through comedy. Not every time, but a lot of the time on the big fake narratives of recent years.

Just look at the insanity over Tucker having those videos. There is almost nothing new learned there from anyone that paid attention to the wider story from the beginning. The uproar is that someone dares shed light on a super simple narrative about that day. The Shamen being in a small group that broke in before the larger mob, who toured parts of the building and did photos with the cops around them. Doesn't fit with the narrative of the photo of the viking hatted dude screaming from the podium as part of a violent insurrection. When it was a posed picture taken under police supervision.
