In some form all of them are playing characters and Pippa's no different. If you listen to her early stuff her voice is a lot squeakier and smaller, if that makes sense. To me it almost sounds like someone's doing a Pippa impression during her debut stream. Her voice has changed as she's gotten more comfortable with the role. I will not be able to find it now in the 7k page testament of autism but someone, I wanna say either @thhrang or @FlappyBat but I cannot be sure, posted a clip of her sometime before she was Pippa where she used her natural voice and it was striking in the difference. She was incredibly soft, quiet and monotone. She was Nicolette. Nicolette doesn't get to scream "I'M GONNA FUCKING SHOOT UP A WALLMART !" Pippa does. Putting on the avatar lets her shed away the terminally online, painfully introverted girl and become a rabbit with almost no inhibitions, at least until she gets into a colab with someone new and turns into an autistic puddle.

At least that's how I, a felon who's been on this site for half a decade, sees it.

But if you compare her to almost every other corpo tuber, and the vast majority of indies, she's incredibly based which I think is what got people's attention. Granted, she would probably be bullied off of somewhere like Poast for not going far enough or be called a facebook boomer refuge. However, I don't believe it's all a larp. She really does not trust/like the government and that's been a constant from very early on.
