Some troon related lunacy from Finland.
Equality Ombudsman states that schools have not just the right but also the obligation to prohibit student work that contained discriminatory and offensive messages against sexual and gender minorities.
The statement was proved because a school had asked what they should do to a student that had written "there are only two sexes".

What makes the statement shoddy is that the word for sex in Finnish is "sukupuoli" lit. "half of a family" and word for gender is "sukupuoli-identiteetti" (sexual identity).
Some people who like doublespeak try to force "sukupuoli" for gender as well to try to push the envelope and add word traps to discussions. Even the statement uses the terms interchangeably to add confusion.
I have tried to decipher a DeepL translation of the statement to be understandable but even in Finnish the statement is shoddy at best due to confusing and wrong usage of the word "sukupuoli".
If you think that the missuse of terms if bad in English speaking countries, it is worse elsewhere.

Schools and education providers have not only the right but also the duty to address harassment and discriminatory behaviour (TAS 89/2023, 21.2.2023)
The Equality Ombudsman was asked to comment on the possibility for a school to ban a student work that contains a message against members of the sexual and gender minority. The opinion was requested in particular on the sentence "there are only two sexes (sukupuoli)."
Under the Equality Act, education providers have a duty to prevent discrimination based on gender (sukupuoli-identiteetti) or sexual (sukupuoli) expression in a targeted and planned way. The educational institution must also take this into account when drawing up an equality plan and deciding on measures to promote equality between sexes (sukupuoli).
When informed of harassment, discriminatory behaviour or behaviour that jeopardises a safe learning environment, the education provider and the school must take measures to prevent and eliminate harassment, discrimination or behaviour that jeopardises a safe learning environment. If the educational institution or educational organiser fails to take available measures to prevent the harassment or discrimination from continuing, the educational institution or educational organiser would be guilty of discrimination prohibited by the Equality Act.
The Equality Commissioner states, inter alia, in her reports to Parliament 2022 and 2018 and in her report on the position of gender (sukupuoli) minorities 2012, that sex (sukupuoli) is a multifaceted phenomenon that cannot be reduced to just two clearly distinguishable genders (sukupuoli). Gender (sukupuoli-identiteetti) is a person's experience of their own sex (sukupuoli). As the preamble to the Equality Act states, a person may experience themselves as, for example, genderless (sukupuoli) or as part woman and part man. is the expression of sex (sukupuoli) through dress, behaviour or other similar means. The Finnish National Board of Education's 2015 guide for basic education, Equality Work is a Skill, also states that the experience of one's own gender (sukupuoli) does not always fit into a two-polar sex (sukupuoli) system.
The Equality Commissioner reminds the organiser of basic education and the school that both have a duty under the Equality Act to ensure compliance with the prohibition of discrimination based on sex (sukupuoli), gender (sukupuoli-identiteetti) and sexual (sukupuoli) expression. The provider of basic education and the school have not only the right but also the duty to intervene in a situation or, for example, in the case of an individual pupil's behaviour that discriminates against or harms other pupils belonging to a sexual (sukupuoli) minority. In addition, education providers and schools have a duty to promote sexual (sukupuoli) equality and to prevent discrimination based on gender (sukupuoli-identiteetti) and sexual (sukupuoli) expression in a targeted and planned manner.
Therefore, under the Equality Act, the school had not only the right but also the obligation to prohibit student work that contained discriminatory and offensive messages against sexual (seksuaali- no ref. to either terms) and gender (sukupuoli) minorities.
