It's worth noting that TF2 is one of those "holdout games" from back when people would regularly call each other fags & nobody cared. There's a concentrated effort by wannabe e-celebs with no lives to stamp out such toxicity & make the game as pozzed as every other video game. They're easily recognized by their virtue-signalling or desire to remove vital parts of TF2 such as random critical hits. tl;dr don't trust this slavshit, don't trust TF2ubers at all.

Discord attracts and is tailor made for manchildren and autism among other things. Of course this doesn't surprise anyone that they will spill the beans and not be aware of it.
I don't even trust not being recorded over random voice chat programs built into a game. Discord records literally everything you say and do for eternity. If I used it, I would feel uncomfortable just whispering what I had for breakfast that morning. The people who blurt out every waking detail of their life in it are too far gone at that point.
CS:GO is pretty much a direct continuation of the original CS games from the early 2000s, it's much more difficult than TF2, the gameplay is straightforward and no nonsense, its playerbase leans more heavily towards eastern euros and russians and many CS players are of the old guard and have been at it since the beginning.
The Mega Milk sprays that would turn into something weird or gross when you walked up close to them were great. If I could change anything about casual other than the horrific bot situation it'd be allowing sprays again.
There's something about it man, i've said before but people for whatever reason feel the need to overshare and engage in sketchy shit, its like getting (you)s but a million times worse because not only are the users manchildern and mentally ill childern but also dophamine addicts of the highest order. Throw in parasocial relationships and touch starved eclebs and you get all sorts of fucking problems.
So what you're saying is that TF2 deserves to die, the players man up, and go to CS:GO because that's what Valve really wants you to play!
TF2 is already dead and it didn't deserve to die. It was a really good game even post-f2p up until around 2014-2015. Valve doesn't give a fuck what you do or don't play as long as 13 year old children and 30 year old autists keep whaling their parents' money for lootbox keys. They do the bare minimum to keep CS:GO trucking along and entertaining its playerbase, while for TF2 such a bare minimum no longer exists, the people still playing it are seemingly content with getting absolutely nothing in terms of gameplay improvements or fixes, it's literally become a platform for Valve to make free money off virtual pixels that someone else outside the company made for free.
Valve doesnt even touch cs:go outside of adding community maps and skins lmfao
Just two days ago I encountered a guy who called our demoman a nigger multiple times in voice chat. Tf2 is probably the last game where you can see stuff like this.
I think the TF2 community has the same problem that a lot of older games had. Over time, the playerbase grew up and had less time to put into the game, or just moved on to other games. As the game ages, moving even further out of the limelight, there are less casual players spending an hour or two here and there to kill a quiet evening. All that gets left are the degenerates, trannies, and autists that are to stuck in their ways to move onto a new game, and too inept to find other things to do with their time. As the problem compounds, it scares more and more normal people off from the community.
