Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

They went with the UNDHR because it's been professionally translated into a zillion languages with modern spelling, is easily accessed, in the public domain, and has far less cultural and historical baggage than Bible verses.
Still a really fucking bad choice due to the high register and the abstract nature of the text.

What would you recommend?
You will never be a real woman. You have no womb, you have no ovaries, you have no eggs. You are a homosexual man twisted by drugs and surgery into a crude mockery of nature’s perfection. All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors. Men are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed men to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even trannies who “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to a man. Your bone structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk guy home with you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected axe wound. You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight. Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a man is buried there. Your body will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a skeleton that is unmistakably male. This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

I bet if we pooled all the multilingual Farmers, we could get this translated into every known language that has ever been spoken. E.g., there's probably at least one KF user who can write in Akkadian.

Is a good first bet, especially for the indo european languages, but there really is no one perfect text in my opinion. But out all the possible texts for a standard cross lingual reference text the undhr has got to be among the worst possible choices, whose only reccomendation is that has been translated professionally into hundreds of languages already.

It seems so weird to me that Wiki is just going to pretend like the Tranch is still up and running. How absurd would it be if the article remains unchanged like 10+ years in the future?
It's almost like if Wikipedo had written a fake encyclopedia article glorifying Jonestown and then after the massacre, they just pretended it didn't happen and the Jones cult was still thriving, in perpetuity, because they rejected any sources that did report on it as "unreliable," meanwhile their own puff pieces were pushing shit from some YouTube video.

What's particularly pathetic is they routinely use shit like tweets just by calling in a favor with one of their journoscum friends to write a hit piece that uses nothing but tweets and social media bullshit anyway.

Someone will eventually show up with sufficient first hand evidence from Tranch members to demonstrate that the Tranch is no more. The main issue is likely to be satisfying objections under WP:V, rather than complaints based on WP:PRIMARY (For the uninitiated in wikpedo moonspeak: you'll likely get away with using Kevin's twitter account to say he's claiming not to be at the tranch, so long as you can show that IS Kevin's account when the inevitable talk page fracas kicks off). There's likely to be some pushback until the dust has settled but not forever.

Given that, I'd be more worried that the article is sent to AFD for memory holing, considering what an embarrassment that Alpaca death camp is likely to prove.

That's "original research". You could have Kevin dig up alpaca corpses, put the video on Youtube and say "We killed every single one of these 'pacas" and it wouldn't be accepted because WP:NOR.

I expect it to grow larger with the long and detailed cope of how showing footage hidden from the public is a crime against humanity.

I should compile a comparison between the articles for actual important IRL shit and what Wikipedos think is important. Would work to really make people see the insanity how Wikipedia needs more words on the article about some literal who professional twitter victim compared to actual heads of state.

WP:OR should not be an issue, so long as you're careful with what you use that video source to claim. If Kevin's obviously in the video saying things, it's not OR to type "Kevin appeared in a video saying these things". Anything else, such as "Kevin appeared in this video saying things, so that must be what happened", could be. Much of it is about how you frame the content of the source. That's not so say wikipedos won't try to use bullshit reasons to expunge content they dislike.

For the record, currently, the Jan 6 article is about 17,500 words. The article on World War 2, a 6 year conflict across the globe and the bloodiest human conflict in living memory is 3,000 words LESS.
These are both roughly the same size as an article on a five-minute photo op:

And this is longer than any of them:

TDS at Wikipedia is real.

News companies seem to have decided not to talk about Project Veritas stuff unless it's absolutely necessary because they've been burned so often in the past, so the only sources for this are "fact checkers" and sites like The Gateway Pundit that can't be cited because they consistently churn out garbage. I wouldn't be surprised if Project Veritas were a psyop to make journalists trust sources not approved by the government less, or to serve as evidence in some argument to repeal the first amendment, so fuck them.
Your mother churned out garbage.

Lol. Lmao even.

Gonna do a little something tommorow then. I think I will compare some Trump articles to stuff like WW2, Holocaust, Communism, Jesus and so on.

Leave some cool possible comparisons. I am gonna guess Goebbels and Tucker Carlson are gonna be a real funny comparison in size and substance.

I posted about some recent Wikipedia nonsense in regards to the Tranch here:
https://kiwifarms.net/threads/the-t...gue-phillip-matthew-logue.86681/post-15369776

I wanted to ask someone more familiar with how Wikipedia works...
The Tranch is dead, and even the Tranchers have admitted (on the official Tranch twitter account) that they've been evicted. They've also shut down their website and privated or deleted most of their social media accounts. Is it normal for Wikipedia to ignore all this and refuse to allow updates since a "reliable" journalist hasn't written about it? It seems so weird to me that Wiki is just going to pretend like the Tranch is still up and running. How absurd would it be if the article remains unchanged like 10+ years in the future?

Does this happen for other organizations or communes that close down without any media fanfare?
Yes, they pretended like the blm riots of 2020 were ongoing for over 2 years. They seem to have finally relented somewhat recently and now say it went on for just a year.

The article on Gamergate is another great example, having about as much Wikipedo janny babysitting as the articles for Israel and Trump while being absolutely obsessed with the thing.
Have you guys noticed the Wikipedia page for GG has retroactively labelled it a Right-wing movement? If you look through archives of the article it goes from not mentioning it being right-wing at all, to implying it was and then to outright stating in the first sentence it was. Check this out.

GG 2015.PNG

(2015) No mention of right-wingers in the opening
gg 2018.PNG

(2018) A brief mention while using the weak "often viewed as"
sneedcore12.PNG

(2023) Literally the first sentence.

And to point out the obvious it wasn't a right-wing movement at all. It was overwhelmingly non-partisan.
