If you had asked me 4 years ago if I'd feel nothing for a GTA VI taking place in Vice City (even if modern) I'd have said you were crazy.

But here we are. Could that change with some really good marketing? Sure, anything is possible. But it sure feels less and less likely since the longer this shit takes to come out the more and more bullshit that piles up on Rockstars plate.

And I should also mention I've got a weird soft spot for Bonnie and Clyde stories on top of that. There's just been too much time and bullshit.

While my preference would be gangbanger LA, or San Andreas-like Texas, or even Detroit gangbangers (with its large swaths of abandoned suburban housing), I think it would be pretty cool if GTA 7 was about drag racers. What I mean is, basically imagine the earlier Fast and Furious, or The Crew with guns. It may sound odd at first, but as long as your drag races/biker gangster/whatever else are shooting at each other on occasion, then making a heavy focus on automobiles would play in perfectly to how people play these games anyways.
Bro what you want is Need for Speed with an actual plot, not Grand Theft Auto.

Rockstar should advertise new content as "worth getting banned by a hacker over".

Updating this thread with an actual rumor that could very well turn into interesting news:

Not to go off topic, but 50 Cent: Bulletproof was released 18 years ago. If this means what I think it means, this could either be funny or just outright random. I’ll keep an eye on this to see if anything happens.
Yeah, apparently 50 Cent was talking about another show of his own, not GTA 6.

Really nigga? He knew what he was doing.

Just not completely over the top like the Saints Row sequels
Yeah. Like, in The Crew, there's this plot where a drag street racing club gets into criminal activity (running drugs and such) and becomes nationwide. The criminal business of the club is the smuggling, but they still have their goofy racing focus as a sort of social/prestige thing (which I think it's fair to say a lot of real-life gangs are also half social club and half criminal business). I'm playing The Crew and just thinking, "This is a good idea wasted on a game about Hot Wheels cars banging into each other."

We are not going to take about the DLC?

Everything right now is so boring and dull that I was actually looking forward to the new DLC.. Them bringing back Dr. Friedlander seemed interesting..

Bringing back Friedlander was so dumb in my eyes. He wasn't exactly the most sympathetic character in the single player what with him constantly taking advantage of Michael. Having him come back for Online just makes his escape in the final session canon and I hate it.

Curtis, you cheeky bastard
I just read the article and I realized something:

Vice City (wt) follows three friends, and former soldiers, who return to their home city of Miami in the mid-80s after being dishonorably discharged from the military for their involvement in the Iran Contra scandal. Disgraced, displaced, and forgotten by the country they served and with no good job prospects, the three friends partner with a mysterious Colombian immigrant, uniting their financial needs and criminal ambitions to form a heist crew. Fueled by the need for American green, they traverse a violent and dangerous path in pursuit of the American Dream.

This actually looks like it could have been a great plot for a fictional sixth installment for GTA, and I didn’t think 50 would unnoticeably stumble unto something like this.

They took him to the hospital.

I dunno. GTA Online has been so fucking retarded I don't know why anyone even cares about its place in continuity at this point.
I blame the lack of single player DLC for this, say what you want about the story, people liked it enough to want to know what happened to the characters afterwards, sucks that it's gotta be through GTAO and you gotta swim among the awful Online characters, but at least we get some closure on Michael Trevor and Franklin

Such an odd choice to bring back the therapist, everyone i know killed him in their run, and iirc, doesnt he die regardless of what you choose? I remember there's an article on the in-game webs that pops up post game talking about how he died
