Potential counter attack in Bahkmut.
Apparently the AFU are massing 20-30 brigades for this attack. these brigades have come from other fronts, rear line areas and some are just scratch units made in the last couple of weeks. these units are considered the last real 'elite' units but many of them have not had any chance to recover and are going into the fight undermanned and underequipped. this is coming on the back of massive strikes against AFU command, control and ammunition sites, along with a mass drone campaign that is raising the daily K.I.A higher and higher. this buildup has been matched by mainline RU forces such as the 106th Air Assault Division
It is anything to take pressure of the city. Units are not just taking losses, but are being destroyed in the vain attempt to hold back wagner forces. every day unit after unit is broken by mass fire from Wagner. and with news that they are looking to expand even more. with recruitment depots opening across the country. Wagner could soon be its own army group. a mass of 100,000 men.

I'm not a trained super ooperator but it seems like a terrible idea to wear bright blue/red/yellow or very shiny metal into a combat zone. I feel like you'd not want to have anything that violently stands out from the background.

Russian soldiers(specifically Buryats, lol) say that once the drone loses connection to its controller with that anti-drone gun, it starts drifting in one direction and then it's easy to shoot it down.

Yeah that's why nearly everyone in combat in the past year has been photographed wearing obvious bright arm bands.
IFF is a thing, a small patch won't give you away to anyone. Movement of any kind attracts human attention a lot more than a random speck of color on a soldier 100 feet away.
