They hate Peterson so much because he advocates for self-responsibility, and the belief that some, or most, of the problems in your life are your own fault, and only you have the power to fix them. Redditors hate that, and want to be coddled. They want other people to deal with their problems on their behalf. Yeah I didn't know much about terry crews so I assumed he was more like the rest of the list. He does sound like a better guy than most Hollywood actors. Still don't think an actor makes a good role model.

Addicts don’t get unaddicted, they are still addicts but not actively using the substance they are addicted to. Junkies never stop wanting but they can stop using.

Idk if that’s legit but it’s a common theme in AOD work.

It means that even if you break your current addiction you still are at high risk at relapsing. See alcoholics that cannot touch any after getting sober due to not being able to control how much they drink. They are still addicts I would argue but not consumers.
