Disagree on some of the ideas about why post-apocalypse shit appeals to some people.

IMHO, it's men who have always lived middle-class lives where they never really had to struggle and they're therefore unaware of how dependent they are on other people. It's like some of the more gleeful roasts of "Atlas Shrugged" which point out that at some point someone's going to destroy the shitter at Galt's Gulch and there's going to be the mother of all battles over who cleans it.

There's a huge chunk of me every day that wants to retire to a cozy chalet in Montana where I can fully flesh out my thoughts about the glaring deficits of the human race.

However, I am aware from having spent time at friends' houses that even going semi-off-grid gets rough fast.

Toileting, bathing, water supply, cooking, heating, cooling, electricity... all these things need to be figured out.

Shitting in a cat hole behind the trailer? Maybe when it's a nice day out. When it's 35 degrees, rainy, and windy for a week straight? Naw.

Or on the flip side, what if your neighbors 100 feet away have an un-permitted outhouse that's just a 4-foot-deep, unlined hole in the ground for six people? Calling the county on a pack of whiskey tangoes who would otherwise be homeless (some of whom are children) is not a great feeling, but sometimes you gotta pick up that phone.

As much as the Uncle Ted lifestyle appeals to me, I pay my EBMUD bill because when I flush that shit, I want it to be gone. I pay people to literally get my shit out of my sight. And it's money well spent.

I don't know why, but it surprises me time after time how similar the stories of AGPs are.
This is why they're so oddly compelling to me. I autistically like finding the patterns.

Interesting. Possible Streisand Effect incoming?
Hotair is a conservative political blog, so I doubt this journalist learned about the Tranch from watching the Blocked and Reported podcast episode. I'm betting he saw the antifa journos attacking Jesse Singal and interrogating TracingWoodgrains on twitter, and the mentions of the Tranch piqued his interest. Maybe more journalists will look into the story if Robert Evans & Co keep screeching about it and denying reality...

Edit: His team is working on a follow up episode about the tranch. I can't wait to hear their unbiased, fact-based reporting! Where are the alpacas, Robert? (a)

And there it is! Greatly looking forward to Robert Evans' follow-up on the Tranch!

An obvious lie but just to make it clear, here's the post that image comes from:

That's from July 2022, anyone can use EOS Landviewer to look it up themselves at these coordinates.
The tranch moved to Custer County in 2019 I believe. The following are from August 2018, July 2018 and June 2019 respectively. Do you see the wasteland?

Yep, thanks for posting this! There's also the Zillow listing of the property which has beautiful, pre-Tranch pictures. Paul Liistro is a slimy liar.

Congratulations, Wilde was the penultimate epigrammatist.
The Tranchers are so delusional, daffy and hypocritical that they practically read like characters from his plays.

Shhh woman, you're spoiling it for them!
They've never had to concern themselves with those things, they're part of the landscape of urban/suburban life. It would spoil the fantasy to stop and think about it. The appeal is the guns, gear, cool forts, no rules, and you can shoot people who make you mad. Take them out to the woods, give them a pile of camping gear and they'd all shit themselves to death within a week from giardia.

Two quotes from the review brought up a pet theory of mine:
In the end, the bigots never really show up—though Jamie doesn’t let that stop him from steadily taking on a victim mindset.
But the style of conflict that Shannon describes seems uniquely toxic, since gender theory allows Jamie to cynically escalate even the most mundane disagreement into preposterous accusations of transphobic bigotry. And if that trick doesn’t work, he simply flees Shannon’s company altogether in a great flourish of tears, on the claim that her words are making him feel “unsafe.” As anyone who’s followed this issue on Twitter might have predicted, Jamie sometimes plays the suicidal-ideation card as well.
The victim ideology that gets adopted along with trans ideology seems to result in cluster b behaviors in people who did not previously have them; maybe bringing them out in people who had them under control, or socializing people into maladaptive behavior through contact with the trans community. Once they've started acting this way, they start having friction with people outside the cult and they have a mental framework that excuses any of their bad behavior because they are victims and frames any pushback as abuse or violence. I think it results in a spiral that draws people deeper into the cult and makes them act like pod-people. Some surveys have shown high rates of cluster b disorder, particularly narcissism, in the trans-identified, I wonder if this is chicken or egg (heh)? I also wonder if you had a kind of social "founder-effect" in the trans community, where the narcissistic AGPs and hysterical Aidens who got the ball rolling on the Great Troon-out were enabled by certain progressive academic sensibilities that view everything through an oppressor/oppressed lens in which the victim is always blameless and must be centered. All they had to do was scream and cry that they were the biggest possible victims ever, because they said so, and now all of society must be re-organized to center and uplift them. The result is a subculture who's central tenets are "everyone must love and affirm me, no one may criticize me, and I get what I want". I think the victim ideology induces and drives the worst behavior in troons.
Edit: forgot spoiler

I like how the Kiwi Farms isn't credited once.

I think you forgot that one of society's social contracts is to not meet people with violence. A troon could get misgendered and respond by violently beating the person, regardless of consequences from the tribe. Or worse, they'd get misgendered, wait until later, and attack the misgenderer when vulnerable. And a roving gang of blokes in skirts? Yeah, you're about to get gunned if you don't have help.
When society breaks down, all former social contracts break down with it. This cuts both ways. Example: prior to Katrina, there wasn't much white people in New Orleans could do about the criminals of melanin, due to the social contract and legal penalties. But when Katrina came and the Federal government floundered, matters were taken into their own hands. If the social order had broken down with the Tranchers, and the tranchers had made themselves enough of a nuisance, there wouldn't be misgendering- only bullets.

Composting toilets are an interesting research topic. As is the earthship self contained water system, actually.

For those interested in stuff like this, just move to a rural area first. You get to split the difference and learn it out (and why septic systems are useful) while be partially disconnected from the grid. If it works for you - keep moving more and more rural.

There is something nice about sitting at home when the grid fails for whatever reason and your backup generator just clicks on but you go shut it off because the kerosene lanterns are good enough.

Even the tranch would have been able to survive longer if they just didn’t get that many alpacas 🦙 and just mouldered (well the inter AGP drama would have still taken it down, killing the tranch with Kindness)

I still think there was the potential germ of a workable idea there. A rural trans retreat/dude ranch/petting zoo offering weekends of rural tranquillity, pet some alpacas, maybe ride a horse, roast marshmallows under the stars. Charge on a sliding scale with the programmer-sock rich AGPs subsidising the poor ones as an "investment in community". Of course, it would never happen because they'd have to set aside the anarchist militia larp and make the place sufficiently clean, tidy and presentable for paying guests.

Random stuff about Paul Liistro (@paulsl_3).
  • Dox here and here.
  • He first showed up in this thread here.
  • Old post showing Paul interacting with Aldo and the Tranchers here.
paul.png
Jewish-Animist, Anarcho-syndicalist, Former fed and marine, Current millwright, FFL, bomb builder, security consultant, and union organizer
He's practically a glowie caricature dreamed up by /pol/. All his antifa buddies are incredibly stupid to trust & associate with him.

When Bonnie accused the Tranchers of intending to make "murder drones" and "explosive materials", someone asked Paul if he was involved in that:
ffl-dds.png
He denied it, of course, but curiously made sure to clarify that it's legal for him to manufacture explosives. Also mentioned having an FFL 10 and a FEL 20.
  • Federal Firearms License Type 10 = Manufacturer of Destructive Devices, Ammunition for Destructive Devices or Armor Piercing Ammunition
  • Federal Explosives License Type 20 = Manufacturer of Explosives (not sure about the specifics)
Paul used some interesting wording in his other replies to Bonnie. He called Bonnie a "snitch" rather than a liar, even when Bonnie was accusing Paul of being directly involved in the Tranch's crimes. 🧐

Unsurprisingly for an anarchist and a ""former"" fed, Paul Liistro loves to fedpost.

edgy-7.png
Here's an example. The first pic is art of someone pointing a gun at Elon Musk, the second pic is Leon Czolgosz (the anarchist who assassinated US President William McKinley), and the third pic is Ronald Regan shortly before his attempted assassination by John Hinckley.
media_FSRhAiIXsAAJr5Q.jpgmedia_FSRhAvCXwAE68Rg.jpgmedia_FSRhA9oXMAANWa-.jpg
Keep the names Leon Czolgosz and John Hinckley in mind, because Paul is a big fan! :)
More murder/assassination fedposting:

In the last screencap above, you can see Robert Evans (the schizo antifa journalist) offering his support for John Hinckley. Yes, that's the actual guy who tried to assassinate Regan - he served his sentence and is now a free man. Paul replies, saying he's a fan and that Hinckley did nothing wrong.

Something I happened to find:
https://web.archive.org/web/20210705132232/https://twitter.com/CentralOrdnance
Paul Liistro used to run a gun/ammo/explosives company called Central Florida Ordnance.
central-ordnance.png
He might still run it for all I know, but he deleted the @CentralOrdnance twitter account for some reason.
Interestingly, he interacted with the Tranch on this account. Here's an example:

He won a raffle and got to name an alpaca. He chose the name "Leon Czolgosz", of course! :story:

This shit had me laughing, but naming the alpaca after the guy that "did nothing wrong" had me on the verge of tears! Are we sure he's not an undercover fed who went completely rogue? :story:

Edit: I opened Twitter and this the first thing I see in my "For You" timeline, I'm on the verge of crying in public! So not only does Paul here nonstop fight and fedpost on Twitter, he does it IRL too!
the only way is ABJECT VIOLENCE.jpg
I tried to find more about him and his time being a fed, but a quick Google search only showed results for more successful people. I want to know if he quit or if he got fired. I also want to know why Penny would even need to ask publicly for Moloov cocktail murder drone recipes when he had this dude in his social circle? :story:

Also, happy two years to the Tranch thread, and hopefully many more (minus the animal abuse, pour one out for the 'pacas) 🎉🎉🎉 🎉
I'll be back later with memes to celebrate!

Edit 2: I cannot stop laughing at @Temperance XIV's Paul Fedposting Compilation, this shit got me more dead than he wants Elon Musk to be. I keep thinking about the "he did nothing wrong" tweet, then I remember what he chose to name an alpaca and I lose it. I have to make a PNG of that little guy (RIP), but I need to stop laughing to do it! This is the reason I love the Farms and this thread so much, it brightens my day immensely :heart-full:

So they're citing other people who cite his tweets because that's somehow... better? Do they think you need some kind of unique qualifications to read and share a tweet? The tweet is still the original source of the information. Daisy-chaining secondary sources that cited a tweet to begin with only serves to give the illusion that Twitter wasn't the origin.
This is literally how wikipedos operate. A tweet isn't a source, but if you get one of your retard pedo buddies in the fake news to write a fake news story about it, citing only the tweet, then it is a "reliable source." They do this all the time.

This is why byuu is, like, totally dead, even though he isn't, and they literally don't care that he's actually alive, they just want to attack us with this bullshit. They literally said "consensus" is more important than actual fact.

And more relevant to this thread, the Wikipedo article for the Tranch basically says it still exists even though all the troons are long gone. But it's "consensus" that it still exists, nothing from a "reliable source" says otherwise, so they continue spewing lies.

The Tenacious Unicorn Ranch is a queer and transgender community and working ranch in Custer County, Colorado, United States.

Just the word "IS" is a lie. It doesn't even fucking exist any more. But apparently "consensus" is that it does.

The "bottle opener" diagram is the dimensions of a "swift link", a dead simple device that there exists multiple variants of that serve to convert AR-15 rifles to fully automatic and only fully automatic. They can be 3D printed, made from coat hangers or, in one instance I saw a video of literally tin-snipped and bent into shape from spring steel. They are the simpler cousin of the ever so slightly more complex Drop In Auto Sear or DIAS.

This has been your lesson in illegal machinegun conversion devices
