I'll have to timestamp where he was talking about us in the 3/11 stream. He wasn't speaking poorly, just he didn't get why we were alogging him and hoped he got better and that was it.
To be fair there's a fair bit of a-logging in this thread.
I find Jack incredibly funny but I don't wish death upon him (I just fully expect it to happen over the next year or so).

Faggot doesn't understand the simplest things does he?

SVB went under because they were too heavily into crypto. That shit is volatile and dangerous to put all your money into.

Apparently you don't either. SVB went down because during the covid boom it received huge inflows of cash which it (stupidly) invested all in long-term treasuries which tanked in value as interest rates rose. When people started moving their money out of the bank because they couldn't offer competitive rates because they had locked all their money in long-term debt, it then had to sell treasuries at a loss and try to raise more capital. This caused people to panic and a bank run ensued. Not a damn thing to do with 'crypto'.

More to do with T-bills and conventional wisdom. And the mindlessness of herds. Ironically, the very thing that makes T-bills a "safe" investment made them risky here, so-called "duration risk." But once retards started panicking, there was no way to stop the stampede.

But yes, the retarded media will mostly say "muh crypto." Even though it had literally nothing to do with it.

T-bills are the fed's short duration bonds, not the long ones.

I took this screenshot, and underneath the post some of Jack's FB friends were clowning on him. Now I don't see the post. I guess he deleted?

Any semi-rational person would have seen the light a long time ago. But Jack is so far gone he can't see the reality that's in front of him.

This. Exactly what makes him a lolcow IMO. It's not obesity or awful personality (I've seen worse), it's the rejection of reality. Dude almost fucking died but he completely shrugs it off, hell he even sounds proud of it and makes funny remarks, not a sign of change or intelligent life in his DNA. He treats these deadly accidents like wet farts, keeps asking for more, and is fucking smug about it as if they were achievements. He's completely insane and that's what makes him stand out from the rest. Nursing home saga is especially fascinating.

SVB held a lot of crypto startups and VCs as customers. They didn't deal with it directly but they were involved with it in that sense. Sorry for not being more clear on the whole thing.

Although there is a difference between pointing out that Jagoff is being a whiny little bitch and actually being a whiny little bitch.

The biggest problem with this recipe, other than Jagoff made it, is that he's using artificially sweetened syrup flavored with artificial maple. Then instead of just brushing it on as a glaze and letting the heat kiss it for a moment, he dunks them into that vile concoction before throwing them back onto the grill.

The point of doing this, when working with a sugar based glaze, is to caramelize some of the sugars which adds to the flavor. This? It's just chemicals burning which honestly can't be good for you.

They were still forced to sell them at a loss. Along with a mix of other things that are generally considered sound investments.

In any event, crypto had literally nothing to do with this.

And yes, crypto is taking it up the ass about this, but ironically, not for any of crypto's actual flaws.

I haven't come close to reading this giant behemoth of a thread, but it already seems like a wild ride. This man had an experience that would be a massive "come to Jesus" moment for most and he's still failed to learn from it. He's had it happen 4 times and STILL is not learning. How can someone be so stupid and have no regard for their own well being? Jack was far from a good chef and he clearly had personality issues a long time ago. The train to improvement is long out of the station, but it feels so weird to think that even at his worst, he still was better back then. Couldn't cook and most likely was a violent jerk, but at least he had some limb functionality and wasn't crippled.

Minor powerlevel, but Jack's having ONE stroke hits close to home. Multiply that by 4 and that equals something that could make me A-Log the fatso. He's doing one good thing though. He's a proverb and a warning to those who still have a chance. Learn from Jack people!

Welcome to JackWorld faggot. There's a bucket of tendies right by the door.

The train to improvement is long out of the station

I'm afraid there was never a station to begin with. Dude is collecting strokes like Pokeballs. I've seen more obese and worse - as far as their degeneracy goes - people than Jack but holy smokes, when it comes to ignorance, smugness and narcissism (when they should be showing humility, self reflection and ability to change) - Salmonella Sultan goes straight on top hands down.

Out of respect for any actual culinary professional, don’t refer to the fat stroked out retard as a chef. He can’t even be described as an assembler, as his habit of opening prefabricated food and slopping it together results in disgusting things not fit even for bacterial consumption. Any institution that gives a shit about its image wouldn’t let fatty take out the trash in their kitchen.
