I wanted to circle back to this because the last sentence raises a good point. Nine months ago Rekieta looked at the precipice of breaking into the A list of content creators - maybe not at Crowder's level, but certainly the level right below.

Then he started muttering weirdly about the worst day of his life. Then he went dark. He barely streamed throughout the summer, and when he did stream it was often bizarre coomer shit like the "18 years of marriage" relationship stream where they talked about winning costume night at their "resort". I guessed at the time there must have been some serious issues in the background for that to happen. He was basically leaving hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table, especially when you consider the cost of passing up on the chance to grow your channel further.

When he finally picked up streaming in the fall, the coomer content slowly increased. By December, it was basically all of his streams, and he explicitly said that he wanted to pivot his Rekieta Law channel into talk about relationships, which for some reason to him means talking about sex all of the time.

While he has "pulled up" slightly in 2023 and began covering law topics again, it is very obvious that he hates it and he does not care. He has gone on rants about how much he hates it and how little he cares to the point where his guests appear disturbed. He does absolutely zero prep. He has recently apparently added super chat bonuses on some of the shows where he will drink shots in exchange for a certain amount of money, which I guess he prefers to talking about the law, since he did not really appear to be in a state to be giving cogent legal commentary at the end of the stream discussed recently on this thread.

The only shows that he appears to legitimately enjoy anymore are the limp dick panels with Camelot and friends on Friday.

Rekieta had a chance at the big time and blew it. People know what he really cares about now. The people who like that are in his Locals chat. The people who don't like it are unsubscribing from his channel.

I think him namedropping Crowder is akin to him telling his Discord that he'll do Live Chat Wednesdays (and then not), telling his locals that he'll send a 5k gift (and then hasn't), or telling his YouTube subs he'll do a 24 hour stream (and then not).

He started talking about the 5k subscriber gift when his sub count was skyrocketing. Presumably he even had ideas of what he wanted to do for 10k. Then suddenly the talk of subscriber growth ended.I think what happened is that the growth in subs died down, then went into reverse, and he doesn't want to think of the 5k thing because it reminds him of this failure.

I also think he was so delusional that he thought that the chatroom of degenerates and occasional tired drunk streams from his kitchen would be enough to drive continued subscriber growth in perpetuity. The reasons for that delusion I won't speculate on.

Its a truism to say "practise makes perfect" what you're trying to do is ingrain the movements and responses until it becomes second nature, then you can let muscle memory do its thing while you're already on the next target. The biggest thing that slows down newbies is like you said, waiting for visual confirmation of where you're placing. You have to trust yourself.

As I posted a couple months ago, I'm not sure if I buy the thing about his income. Before he signed the deal he was whining about how what Rumble was offering would basically consign him to making a fraction of what he was making on YouTube. I think his "this year I'll make more than ever" (you forgot the part where he says he'll make more even if he doesn't stream at all) is more an attempted dunk on this thread than something meant seriously. If it is meant seriously and truthfully, it's probably including Locals sub numbers, which is a very decent chunk of change but I wouldn't count on since it might not be renewed forever.

And as people on this thread said at the time, Nick Rekieta isn't big enough a draw to justify the big bucks required for a real exclusivity deal. That's not even a dig at Rekieta. In general, these types of exclusivity deals are reserved for the very biggest players. For instance, Crowder's deal is a real exclusivity deal from what I can tell: Crowder's show will only be available on Rumble.vSo it isn't that Rumble has a blanket unwillingness to do a real exclusivity deal: they just concluded Rekieta isn't worth paying to do that, which is why they're only paying for exclusivity for part of his night streams, none of the trial streams, and I guess also the Locals exclusives deep into the morning Minnesota time.

Based on the contemporaneous discussion in the thread at the time, it looks like it was from a stream the morning of July 4, 2022. Though from the conversation in the thread it looks like the stream got cut off and he had to make a new one, then afterwards people started talking about the dark turn of the stream. From this post I'm going to guess it's at the end of the second stream from that morning:
