Truckee (which is where I assume the hearing is, since it was on the court documents that were posted recently) is 100 miles from san francisco. Easy drive for a normal person. Insurmountable hurdle when you're a five foot tall rage pig with a legally-binding benzo addiction.

I think he means arrested, not served, which is possible the way he's been off the hilt lately. I would be shocked if Claire doesn't have a restraining order waiting for him, but he could fear more. The assumption being he can't afford a ticket for May, so the police would put the baby into state care when he gets locked up.

But he's pretty xannied out, so who knows.

Not to mention getting her to sneak out of his house right after graduating high school which kicked off the whirlwind of weird shit in the Faith saga. Yes I know Faith did that stuff too but from Vickers' (warped) perspective this guy practically kidnapped his daughter. When you see this kid who was not long ago still going to school and who's hobby was drawing childish anime characters like Ralph-Chan I can't help but be a little sympathetic to him wanting revenge.

Couple that revenge thing with him practically being Ralph and it explains why he's going so far. They both love revenge and "making their enemies suffer". Ralph crying about how he tried to put an end to it 3 weeks ago is way too little and way too late as well as something Ralph himself would never accept. Imagine the gloating he would do if he got the same message from any of his enemies.
