So I've been reading a few newly published authors through Tor and holy shit the quality and quantity is a vast departure from the fapfiction that Grootchen offers. They can even be considered to be in the same "kweer~ fiction/author" category.

One example is usually under 300 pages with a they/them protagonist, the gayest nsfw stuff gets less than two paragraphs dedicated to it and leaves more to the imagination than our title troon could ever hope to achieve. The story is still more interesting ( by virtue of folklore inspo) than anything he's shit out and to rub salt into the wound further: she's a cis wahmen.

Maybe there's hope for Tor, but I'm not holding my breath... other than to avoid the stink radiating off Grootch and his offerings, that is.

I know testosterone is always prescribed as injections or topical gel, so I thought there must be some reason why it can't be absorbed by ingestion.

What I don't understand is why, if they're in the woods, they'd shoot men for their testicles rather than does for their ovaries. Hell, why not just find a dairy farm and work through the cows?

Honestly, it's the novel equivalent of the F.A.T.A.L. RPG. There's no point in overthinking any aspect of the worldbuilding, because either it's in there to be pointlessly gory, edgy and shocking, or it's in there to give the writer an erection. Other than that, there's not much there there.
