DarksydePhil / TheyCallMeDSP / Phil Burnell: The Side Scrollers Podcast Week of March 13th

He's legit bad at being a person.
he was spoiled as a child and never grew up beyond the age of 12.
he said in his interview that a former bully apologized for doing things to him.
even the bully grew up.
Phil, 110% of the time is avoiding responsibilities (1), he thinks too much of himself (2), he has the habits of a child (3).
(1) he is doing most of the things correct, others are harming him, thus it's the others' fault, not his.
(2) he doesn't feel bad for using individuals for a quick buck. He thinks that he is providing some service and he is entitled to that money. He has no morals when it comes to draining money from the 3 bankruptcies guy, some chink retard with mommy's credit card, or a few individuals getting paid for being retarded.
(3) he never grew out of games. I used to play WoW for days straight, I slept for a couple of hours and then went online again to grind to 60. I did that when I was 19 and by 20 I grew out of it. He keeps on playing this dumb-fucking simple games, which shows that the complexity of his brain is the same as 30 years ago. I can't play most of the games I used to play as a 15 or 20 year old, because I find them simple and fucking boring.

I don't think she wanted to deal with Phil she kinda roasted him on her Twitter.
She also retweeted this:

I am not going to be like a certain detractor who needs to log off or at least google Fred fucks and understand how looking in the abyss is the cruelest of fates. However, Phil's stance on his bankruptcy and the major holes its presents from the get-go is alarming. He literally only go through because Covid just started and overwhelmed the courts.

I am glad they saw through him as I was worried they'd fall for his victim narrative but they raped him good. We saw live Phil literally cucking himself of 50k, all he needed was humility and apologize and he could have nearly had it.

He is in sheer cope mode if he thought that was a good interview, they eviscerated him.

I'll go full white knight and defend Phil here. With that said I don't keep up with Phil lore so if Phil is doing anything beyond the usual streamer shit of saying Superchats and thanking people then yes he's a shitbag. And I don't care about Phil being a streaming beggar, it makes him pathetic but I don't hold hatred.

But anyway if you're in a job and that job involves getting people to frivolously spend money that's their problem if they can't say no. Whether that's a car salesman, a bartender, anyone working commissions and strippers.

Phil has despite no redeeming qualities made a job out of streaming himself play video games. And part of that job is getting tips. It's not Phil's fault that there's rubes handing him their savings. No more than it is Vince McMahon's fault for letting Phil blow through his cash playing a mindless mobile game.

Edit: Thank you for the trashcan. Okay I reacquainted myself with Phil begging by watching Memeology 101.

I dunno I definitely agree Phil is a shameless motherfucker but if his paypigs are really that gullible I still feel the responsibility lies on them. Like he's going to quit when he's been a streamer for more than a decade. I love wasting money like anyone else but I cannot understand the psychology of Twitch viewers the content is so horrendously boring.

Did Phil ever have a normal job?

Yes, he did and no, he didn't do damage control. He thinks it went well! DSP got anally raped 5 hours straight, he thinks it was a fun time, and hopes to be one of the regular guys of the podcast in the future. Meanwhile the podcast guys told him he needs to get a job and seek therapy.
DSP unironically became the "This Is Fine" meme. Make it make sense bruh. :story:

I think that is a common misconception that (for the lack of better term) "normies" have about DSP detractors.
It isn't that he makes money and/or getting tips from his viewers, but rather that he is feigning distress constantly while he keeps spending thousands on his mobile addiction.

They proceeded to rip Phil apart for nearly 5 hours straight while Phil like a retard couldn't comprehend what was happening.
Thank you, that about explains it. I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised to see Phil in an environment where he's called out for his shit without hope for escaping the conversation. Feels like it's been literal years since that last happened

Phil lying about the bank statements not being his was absolute fire. I had to stop the stream to contemplate how fucking retarded he actually can be. There is unequivocal proof the bank leaks belong to him.

Overall though I felt the interview was kind of boring. He got grilled on past shit, lied and ducked around questions and always played the victim card. Nothing new or exciting.

DSP isn't just an e-beggar, he's an e-mergency beggar.

I’m still puzzled as to why Phil did this interview. What did he have to gain from it? By his own admission, he has no aspirations to progress beyond what he currently does (i.e., operate at level one). Perhaps Kat pressured him to do it so he could bring up her alleged restraining order so as to make her look better? I can’t imagine he did it to grow his audience; watching a 40-year-old ghoul play video games 8 hours each day in his Fallout vault can’t appeal to too many people.

He said on camera 1-2 days before the interview that it's an opportunity to bring new blood to his streams.

The only explanation I would be able to come up with relates to Phil attending ScrewAttack Gaming Convention back in Craig's earlier days and probably wanting to "reconnect" with him.

EDIT: Tsoliassss explained it better than my inactive ass could have ever done.

As for my own thoughts regarding this interview, I was not expecting for Phil to have an honest to goodness Father Call
