This is probably super late, but Dave is claiming that Keem called him while he was streaming despite giving Keem explicit hours when he could be called. Dave's on the west coast and Keem's on the east, right? Was the 3 hour time zone difference a factor, and if so, whose fault was it? Keem didn't regularly stay posted on Dave and might have thought he still lived in the CT cahndo rather than moving to the other side of the country. I don't know what Keem knew, and I find it unlikely that he's so stupid that he doesn't understand how time zones work, so if Dave failed to specify his time zone when talking about when he could be reached, that's entirely on him.

I feel like Keem covered his bases there, and Craig or hat guy agreed, that while dropping everything to return the message would have been unreasonable, decorum dictated that there was a 12 hour window to respond, which seems reasonable time to read/reply to an email or DM. Unless Phil was in fucking India, time zone probably didn't factor in.

He would be one of the biggest game content creators on the internet if he stuck to his guns and didn't burn bridges. Say what you want about him, but he was a pioneer when it came to gaming content and journalism. The man was also responsible for finding some of the biggest talent (regardless of what they are now) early on; James Rolfe, Destin Legarie, Jared Knabenbauer etc. Selling Screw Attack to Fullscreen was one of the biggest retard moves ever. Now he's leeching for views off degenerate lolcows like DSP. Sad

i dont think anyone doing what he does successful or no has any right to act like theyre oh so above dsp. i think any argument you can use to defend him living off donos and goodwill to play games and talk to lolcows can equally apply to dsp.

Underrated moments of this legendary day:

-Phil went back to his stream and discussed Keemstar being an "egomaniac" who makes everything about "me me me"
-On his decompression stream, Phil claimed the clip shown of his doxxing threat was "confusing" as it was not a threat and he had, in fact, not done anything wrong. This comes after admitting on the show it was wrong and he should not have done it.
-Phil's narrative of it being someone else's real bank account, meaning someone with his social security number and name who lives in the exact same area and also is addicted to mobile games and doordash was accidentally targeted by trolls, or worse, a troll manufactured all of this somehow
-He tells the story of his addiction to mobile games, then immediately segways into he's playing a new mobile game, Street Fighter one, and reveals he has already been spending money on it. When asked if he is addicted to mobile games, Phil professes he is not.
-Phil tells Keemstar he has "no self awareness". Phil then proceeds to confess he respects Keemstar "immensely"
-On the night stream, Phil revealed that Keemstar was clearly flustered and embarrassed by Phil, and humiliated by his inability to tell time

On a more subjective note, I really enjoyed that Phil's NPD wouldn't let him understand that clearly Craig and Adam not only didn't believe him, but also did not like him. Despite this, Phil invited himself on the post-show, and hopes to become a co-host on the show.

Finally, on Craig's decompression stream, he said he personally believes it is Phil's WWE Champions account. Craig also said: "Let's say you're talking to somebody, your uncle, and you smell alcohol on his breath. You ask did he drink, he says no. You say, you're holding a bottle of alcohol, and he says I didn't drink it. That's how I felt today."

My favorite was the piece of blank paper to explain BUSINESS expenses. Doesn't even get past $10 on Hulu.

Then proceeds to get up AND TO PUT THE ONE PIECE OF PAPER AWAY, live, during an interview.

The problem is that Phil can't make good jokes. I remember how Metokur commented on Phil's "Isaac Himmler" act that Phil's joke is just a punchline like "I kill you JEW!" instead of using the asthma voice or use a "jew name" like schlomo or goldenstein. Phil has no sense of humor thats why a lot of his racist humor comes across as pure racist takes. Also he seems to make the most racist remarks on Blacks and Asians. I wonder why

I'll go full white knight and defend Phil here. With that said I don't keep up with Phil lore so if Phil is doing anything beyond the usual streamer shit of saying Superchats and thanking people then yes he's a shitbag. And I don't care about Phil being a streaming beggar, it makes him pathetic but I don't hold hatred.

But anyway if you're in a job and that job involves getting people to frivolously spend money that's their problem if they can't say no. Whether that's a car salesman, a bartender, anyone working commissions and strippers.

Phil has despite no redeeming qualities made a job out of streaming himself play video games. And part of that job is getting tips. It's not Phil's fault that there's rubes handing him their savings. No more than it is Vince McMahon's fault for letting Phil blow through his cash playing a mindless mobile game.

Another big takeaway from this was seeing him on the same screen next to two normies.

When he tries the ‘escort saga’ shield they instantly rip it away by pointing out the detractors cleared Phil. Meticulous research.

Early doors they let him talk and give him enough rope to hang himself. I think you’re seeing that combined with their own personal dislike of twitch, which I can’t blame them for.

That is Phil's issue here.

He spends so much time to convince him and others, that the opposition here calling him out, are lying. Everyones just makin shit up. Phil thinks that by default if the other people are lying, that he's the only one telling the truth.

That's really not how it works. He spends all that time tryin to convince that people are lying, instead of spending it to make people want to believed him. Convince them, make it easier on them. What does he do? Fuckin squanders it live in front of a couple thousand people.
