DarksydePhil / TheyCallMeDSP / Phil Burnell: The Side Scrollers Podcast Week of March 13th

This proves something we've all known. Phil creates detractors. Adam didn't know shit about this man before two weeks ago. He tried his best to give the man the benefit of the doubt and tried to offer solutions and was transformed into a full blown detractor in a matter of hours. This is what attempted pignosis does to regular people. It makes them angry. What does Phil blame Adam's heel turn on? Watching detractor content?

They just confirmed, if Phil comes back again for part two, it will be the last time they ever talk, they are done with him after that
That can't be possible. I thought he was gonna be a normal, regular, guest on their PAHDCASST. He just needed to address the crazy conspiracy theories beforehand and then he would join their show and shoot the shit about gaming news and stuff.

I'm actually quite impressed that Phil stayed the whole time, I was expecting him to run off squealing whenever they started grilling him on the next nontroversy
I'm not saying they paid him an appearance fee, and I don't want to make it sound like that is unusual because it's not, but it would explain why Phil stayed despite Keem coming on the stream, and despite having no logical answers to most of their questions. It would also explain why he wants to go back on the show.

My guess would be a cut of the chats. He was very happy afterward and only had anything bad to say about Keem. He seemed to genuinely think it was great.

Phils the author of his own fate. I think Adam and craig brought that up as well in some capacity. Reality is if Phil was just honest (Might be too late for that even if he comes clean) he wouldn't be in the position he is in now. He has no one to blame but himself.

After this fun and pahsitive interview, let us not lose sight of the fact that Jeremy/The Quartering is an absolute bona fide punk bitch for his sorry softball excuse of an "interview" with Phil.
To be fair, when Jeremy did the interview, Phil was in a better place and had the luxury to be able to turn it down if it wasn't little league softball.

Today's DSP is desperate. He's been shafted by the youtube algo, banned from Twitch content program, still spending money like a drunken sailor and he's admitted he has a bunch of debt that he could not discharge in the bankruptcy.

I noticed when Craig mentioned for the first time that he should consider getting a full time job, DSP immediately folded his arms, slightly tilted his upper body and head downward and stayed in that position for 5-10 seconds. Classic defensive posture. And the only time he did that.

I'm confident if we could see his lower body, he crossed his ankles too.

I was thinking more along the lines of:

"So you said last time you never took out a business loan"
DSP- "Correct"
*plays clip of DSP saying he took out business loans*

"You said you have never used hateful slurs when you were kicked out of the Twitch partner program."
DSP "I never said hateful slurs that is right."
* plays clips of Phil using hateful slurs*

"You monetized the reveal of your pet cat, but leading up to that you claimed it wasn't a cat."
DSP- "No I never said it wasn't cat before I showed everyone."
*Plays clip of DSP saying it isn't a cat*

ETC...
We all would've loved that but DSP would've bailed before the first gotcha clip even ended. They had to walk a fine line with that and I think they did as well as anyone could have.

He would be one of the biggest game content creators on the internet if he stuck to his guns and didn't burn bridges. Say what you want about him, but he was a pioneer when it came to gaming content and journalism. The man was also responsible for finding some of the biggest talent (regardless of what they are now) early on; James Rolfe, Destin Legarie, Jared Knabenbauer etc. Selling Screw Attack to Fullscreen was one of the biggest retard moves ever. Now he's leeching for views off degenerate lolcows like DSP. Sad

This is probably super late, but Dave is claiming that Keem called him while he was streaming despite giving Keem explicit hours when he could be called. Dave's on the west coast and Keem's on the east, right? Was the 3 hour time zone difference a factor, and if so, whose fault was it? Keem didn't regularly stay posted on Dave and might have thought he still lived in the CT cahndo rather than moving to the other side of the country. I don't know what Keem knew, and I find it unlikely that he's so stupid that he doesn't understand how time zones work, so if Dave failed to specify his time zone when talking about when he could be reached, that's entirely on him.

This is called siege mode. He does this when he gets defensive.
