One of my first jobs I worked for tips, there was one regular who was a nice guy but the shittiest tipper possible. All my coworkers despised him because he was high maintenance and wanted to talk your ear off as he hung out.

A decade later he wound up becoming my best friend and I continue to talk to him once a week. He's helped me through the toughest moments of my adult life, way more than any small tips could help. Point of my boring story is people in the service industry who only focus on the now and change their service based on tips are morons.

I'll be honest Phil I just thought was reviled for being stupid and obnoxious. I didn't know he could be that scummy. I've dealt with gangbangers and one tweaker I had run ins with murdered a hobo. They were all more polite than Phil even when they asked for tips back and tried to sell me drugs.

The hosts were so smug at some points it was an irritating watch from all sides. Especially that Adam guy who was almost moved to tears because of an old shitty joke dsp made that he thought was racist. I only know Adam from his appearances on Rekieta’s streams and given that he’s said a lot worse, clearly his offense only appears when the subscriber count is under 100k.

Phil tried to do this interview without anyone finding out.

The only reason people found out, is because Craig announced the interview the day before it was supposed to happen. People flooded Craig with information, he rescheduled the interview for a couple weeks later, and then this happened.

Phil was this close to getting away with some serious Pignosis. This has gone horribly wrong for Phil, worst thing that could have happened imo. He thought he would cozy up to Craig, become a part of the SideScrollers gang, and hang with them on stream and play Mario Kart. but now he's doing emergency damage control streams so he can save face.

I wondered if that was serious or subtle trolling or what. I think in another context I would probably agree with you. But DSP being on the call made the two hosts come off as supremely pleasant by comparison, for me at least. Also if it's the joke about the sheriff selling the black girl into slavery or something, that one was from like, 2021 IIRC. Which contradicted DSP's narrative that he was only edgy 10+ years ago and now he apologized and changed his ways and etc.

Craig, whatever you think of the dude, has a pretty serious history in this industry and internet entertainment. He knows who DSP is. He knew what was going to happen when he announced him as a guest, he bet on DSP being stupid enough to believe that Craig just remembers DSP from way back when on some fucking who cares gaming convention, and Craig bet on detractors wanting to educate "ignorant" Craig. Now he had manufactured the perfect situation to promote his show, to then actually suddenly know lots of shit about DSP and corner him.
