What's great about Patwatching is that one day Jerry Jen and Quasi will strike, and there will be a glorious season finale, but you don't know when. And the tension is palpable. The more Pat blusters, lies and sneers at people, the more the knowledge that one day that smug smile will be wiped off his face. Could be today, could be in a year. And that excitement makes Pat's escapades so gripping. It's like he's the black guy in a horror movie, you know he's going to be eaten by The Creature, but you don't know when. Except this time the only black characters get turned into pepperoni by a protagonist so detestable that the inevitability of his upcoming gruesome demise becomes so satisfying that the whole film changes from horror to comedy. So maybe that stretches the metaphor somewhat.

Sorry I'm really stoned. What I'm trying to say is that Patrick is fat.
