They made a lot of money by not ignoring Phil, so not sure why they'd ignore him now. The part that sucks is DSP is going to make money on it too, when his tips were dying. Psychoanalysis is extremely common around here, and I typically don't take it too seriously when words like narcissism, autism, and the like are flung around, because a lot of people just think that mental illnesses make for good insults and just reference them because we dislike Phil.

But watching this, I think Phil is legitimately suffering from a diagnosable mental illness. I won't pretend to know what a professional therapist would actually diagnose him with, but he absolutely would be diagnosed and be recommended treatment.

Not joking, if I saw someone else behave in this way I'd be worried that he'd get drunk and strangle his wife in her sleep over some perceived insult from earlier in the day.

So, let me get this straight. The guys were going to respect Phil's wishes and not talk about his wife. Except he told them he wanted them to for some reason that is unclear.
They told him to bring up his wife if he wanted to. Phil didn't until the last minute when he randomly shoehorned it in. Now he's angry that they felt he brought it up for no reason.

I also just want to reiterate, Craig did invite him to send evidence at the end of the email, saying he'd help him whenever he was ready.
Read: when you want to send evidence, go ahead.

Our boy is going all in on semantics to nitpick everything, but seems to have a pretty fluid concept of what 'addiction' means.
You don't just randomly stop being addicted to things. Admitting you're an alcoholic is the first step in the healing process. It isn't the whole process and then you just pound the occasional gin.
